Salary: $70k-85k
Apply knowledge of SDLC to perform software development tasks associated with the design, development, and debugging of Java applications according to provided design specifications. This also includes adding enhancements and new features to existing software. The focus of this position is on Java user interface and Java client/server applications.
Deep knowledge in the following:

Location: Hamilton NJ
Growing Hamilton NJ based pharmaceutical firm Pharmaceutical firm seeks a Sr. Network/Unified Communications professional with expertise with IT Infrastructure LAN/WAN platforms, ISP provisioning, configuration and monitoring, video technology, support (desk side) and other related disciplines. The position will also involve successful installation and operation of company-wide video endpoints and technology with appropriate interaction with vendors to work through problem resolution.
Requirements:
· Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science, or equivalent combination of education, skills and experience
· 5+ years experience managing software and hardware in an Information Technology department with at least 3 years working in a 24x7 support environment.
· Ability to work proficiently with little daily guidance.
· Strong experience managing networking environments including:
· Network Security initiatives
· Telephony and Helpdesk Administration
· Video Conferencing System Administration
· Strong Experience with Vendor Management
· Identifies and provides standards for gathering information for use in trend analysis and reports information to company management.
· Provide assistance in the day to day needs.
· Ability to glean and clearly articulate (verbally and written) technical requirements
· Ability to facilitate technical discussions and actionable tasks across various disciplines
· Experience in TELCO and ISP circuit provisioning is highly preferred
· Strong Customer facing skills to manage timelines, delays and obstacles.
· Must have mature seasoned skills and approach when working with production systems.
· Any relevant certifications are a plus: PCVE, CCNA, etc.
Responsibilities:
· Support of IT LAN & Video Infrastructure
· Support the global deployment and configuration of videoconferencing endpoints.
· Ensure availability of endpoint devices status and troubleshoot alarms as necessary.
· Assist in the development and documentation of videoconferencing standard configurations, processes and procedures.
· Provide maintenance, technical support and troubleshooting of desktop computers, printers, telephones and other devices to ensure effective use of technology resources by staff.
· Participate in the effective operation of the Help Desk by taking requests, tracking work orders, maintaining equipment inventories and supporting users with day to day user issues.
· Maintain network security and access to resources by creating, editing and/or deleting user accounts, network shares and e-mail lists with attention to appropriate security procedures.
· Maintain the security of client computers and data by ensuring operating system updates and virus protection are installed as well as finding and eliminating malicious applications.
· Provide information systems administration and support as needed to ensure continuous and effective operations while maintaining IT security regulations.
· Support daily operations of videoconferencing environment and maintain high availability of the videoconferencing environment.
· Support all components of the installation of new video endpoints (network & hardware).
· Maintain comprehensive knowledge of videoconferencing landscape and make suggestions for testing/implementation, as appropriate.
· Provide Videoconferencing training as needed.
· Vendor Management (including ISP's)/Negotiation
· Provide needed assistance to the IT Department

Below are a few things about NJM benefits The fact that we have never had a lay off is very attractive to most (Of course..we can not guarantee this going forward..) . There is a nice work life balance here in that of course there may be the business need to work more hours from time to time, but for the most part, it is a Monday - Friday, 40 hour work week. The company culture is rich in tradition and conservative in nature. We are paid twice a month. A full time employee will be eligible for Health Insurance.
Our savings plan we can save up to 8% of our salary and the company will match $1 for $1 which is excellent. If we participate in the savings plan, our bonus is then matched $.50 cents on the $1 to bring that percentage up. We direct which funds our savings go into through Vanguard who is the administrator for our savings plan (we are offered a variety of plans from conservative to more aggressive). NJM also offers Pension plan. The PTO (Paid Time off) is 17 days, prorated depending upon when the individual joins NJM
Also have a cafe on-site, free parking and complimentary coffee, tea, hot chocolate, choice of hot soups, and milk. All complimentary. Our cafe is also filled with breakfast items, hot lunch entrees, salad bar and sandwich bar, for a modest price.
We have many employees who come here to retire, and quite a few active employees who have been here 25 plus years...which is amazing in today's market.
