Description: Very stable lending institution in Westchester is seeking a Vice President of Information Technology.

Key Responsibilities:
-Provide strategic and tactical planning, development, evaluation, and coordination of the information and technology systems.
-Manage and analyze products, resources and market to determine appropriate technology to support Credit Union business. -Implement and control technology and end user support.
-Establish goals and direction for areas including benchmarks to ensure the departments* part of the overall organizational goals are met.
-Ensure the security of the information systems, communication lines, and equipment.
-Analyze workflow to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
-Manage, coach and supervise staff.
-Administer Human Resources issues and concerns such as staffing, training, employee relations and performance.
-Stay abreast of industry developments including, but not limited to, changes in regulations, technology, etc.
-Participate in the strategic planning and operating planning processes of the Firm. Prepare budgets.
-Act as Information Security Officer, overseeing all aspects of the Information Security Program to ensure any security risks are identified and addressed.
-Act as head of Facilities department, overseeing the staff and ensuring that all responsibilities of the team are executed effectively, including mail support, building maintenance, and office supply management.
-Negotiate vendor contracts.
-Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures and Banking/Credit Union Regulations.
-Manage a staff of 5 - 12 employees.

You will also be a member of the Senior Management Team and attend monthly board meetings and strategic planning meetings.

Required skills & experience:
-7+ years of management in related position preferably at a credit union, bank or other financial institution.
-Extensive knowledge of computer systems, applications, related peripheral equipment, network protocols and multiple systems platforms.
