Title: Senior SAP Basis Administrator
Location: Shelton, CT
Salary: $92 -105K
We are seeking a Senior SAP Basis Administrator who will be part of the team
whose overall responsibilities are to provide support for SAP
implementation.
The overall objective of the Basis group would be to keep the system up and
running at optimal performance. Some of the responsibilities of the Basis
Team during the implementation and support phases are the following:
. Install/Upgrade SAP R/3 system and Oracle database software using
SAP
installation tools; Basis Support Knowledge in Netweaver CRM/BW/PI/HCM/SCM
. System Layout of Development, QA, and Production systems
. Setup and Support of SAP print devices and/or connection to output
management systems, external fax systems and SAP GUI front-end software for
required clients
. Change Management, Transport from Development -> QA -> Production,
troubleshooting, SAP service packages, OSS notes
. Security Administration, security methodology documentation and
change
control procedures, Create and maintain user functions and roles, user id's,
user passwords, security audits
. Create, maintain and monitor Job Scheduling, spool reorgs, job log
reorgs, database statistics updates, etc.
. Database Administration: Performance monitoring and tuning, Creation
of
database table and indexes, patches, capacity planning
. Operating System Administration: Install, upgrade and patching
server
software, Performance monitoring and tuning, Allocation of disk resources,
Capacity planning
. Installation and upgrade of 3rd party software (ie: Remedy, TopCall,
Connect Direct, TeleAlert, etc) and Other Administrative Tasks; Support of
Data Warehouse servers and databases

Overview:
Our client is seeking an experienced IT Trainer who will serve all business
units as it relates to determining, customizing, and delivering IT training
needs for internal employees. The successful candidate will design and
develop appropriate training materials, provide coordination and logistics
of such
classes and act as liaison between Human Resources and the IT business
units.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and present on-site classroom instruction for Systems upgrades
(Lotus Notes 8.5, Windows 7.0, Internet Explorer, wireless usage) and new
version training for various programs (DMS 6.5, Brava, Client Relationship
Management System, SAP, Concur, MS Suite etc.) Stay abreast with new
products and industry enhancements and identify future IT training needs.
Required Experience:
- BS College degree.

Requirements:
At least 5 years of development experience in investment / securities industry, 2 year or more must be in hedge fund or asset management.

Strong technical and development skills
.Net Framework, Visual Studio, C# programming
Object oriented development experience
SQL Server development for data query and update
