Detailed Info: The Raptor Project is meant to provide an integrated firm-wide application to attribute transactional costs in brokerage, clearance and exchange expenses drivers for the purpose of providing trade cost transparency by business unit as well as providing a source to identifying areas of expense optimization.
Current need is for an experienced PM to work on a large reconciliation project. There are close to 200 applications in an Access DB. Need good experience interacting with and reporting to business users.
Development/Computing Environment: Ideally the candidates should have 10 yrs IT PMO experience w/at least 3-5 years in Financial Services Industry working on global projects. If they happen to have a technical development background, that would be a big plus as well. Definitely a Hands on PM. Must be a proactive/professionally aggressive personality type that is willing to roll up sleeves where needed.
Strong Access experience.
At least 10 years of technical experience with at least 7 years of actual project management experience in the financial services industry (must have), leading multiple teams on multiple projects.
Experience with reconciliation projects from requirements definition through entire life cycle, matrixing across projects and teams globally.
Excellent communication skills with experience working with senior level management and business partners.
Demonstrates working knowledge of project management methodology and SDLC and basic knowledge of program management.
Ensures projects are delivered within approved budget, schedule, contingency and meets quality standards. Skills Required for the position:PROJECT MANAGEMENT, ACCESS, SDLC, BROKERAGE;
