Position Summary:
· Responsible for all activities related to supporting and enhancing our supply chain systems.
Act as an authority and subject matter expert on merchandising, supply chain and warehouse management systems- understand the business user's function and help them develop more efficient process/procedure.
· Anticipate and identify issues that may negatively impact business and develop/implement technology based solutions.
Manage all aspects of IT projects including analysis, design, development, installation and implementation.
· Ensure our merchandising and supply chain systems meet current and future business needs.
Work with IT vendors and other outside contacts on development and service relationships.
Effective verbal and written communication skills required.
Forward thinker who designs for not only current business needs but, plans for scalability and longer term solutions.
Teamwork oriented- must be a team player willing to help others while also fostering their help in return.
Must be able to multi-task and juggle multiple priorities while ensuring successful completion of all items.
Minimum 2 years' experience working for a retail organization.
Minimum 1 year experience in IT related position.

Network Operations Center Manager
Our client, a large international technology services company in midtown Manhattan, is looking to hire a Network Operations Center (NOC) Manager on a full time basis.
This person will be responsible for managing a team of network operations technicians in a 24 x7 environment. This person will be responsible for maintaining standards of service in the NOC, ensuring service level agreements (SLA's) are being met, providing technical guidance to team members, scheduling, performance management, employee reviews, staffing, and handling escalated network operations issues. This person will interface with various hardware and software vendors. They will be reporting various network operations statistics and documenting incidents. The technical environment is mostly Windows 2003/2008 servers with a small amount of AIX servers. The network equipment is Cisco devices. Legato is currently the backup software used. This person will be responsible for the NOC and should be ready to do technical operations if needed. This is a heavy client interfacing role. This person will be working for the technology services company onsite at
one of their most demanding clients.
This position is located in midtown Manhattan. Candidates need to have experience managing a NOC of at least 500 servers. Candidates need to have experience working in high pressure and demanding environments. Candidates need to be flexible on working overtime. Candidates must have excellent written and oral communication skills.

The R&D Manager, Cleansing & Hair Care Technology Platforms Skin Care Franchise will work in R&D SkinCare Platforms at Johnson & Johnson Consumer Products, Inc. in Skillman, New Jersey, leading a team of scientists to develop, and validate novel technologies to build product pipelines in the area of skin care. This individual will lead the pipeline efforts for Consumer Cleansing & Hair Care applications and orchestrate the seamless transfer of technology from the platform to the Consumer Skin Care brand teams and franchise development teams for commercialization.
The R&D Manager, Technology Platforms Skin Care will be responsible for leading and conducting research that will further the understanding of novel scientific mechanisms of action, and generate new scientific insights as well as new benefit and technology insights. As a part of leading innovation efforts, this individual will build strong science behind the potential product propositions and translate the science into technical claims and consumer-relevant claims, support and language. The R&D Manager, Cleansing & Hair Care Technology Platforms will conceive, design and test novel cleansing and Hair Care systems and conduct in vitro, ex-vivo, and in vivo studies, incorporating various methods and models and instrumentation, to understand the underlying science for the novel technology, both directly and in collaboration with internal and external teams. In this effort, the R&D Manager is also responsible for conducting literature research, collaborating with internal and external partners, writing clinical protocols, overseeing test facilities, performing data analysis, preparing reports and making presentations. This individual is expected to participate in patent related activities, publish in relevant, peer-reviewed journals, present findings at scientific and medical conferences.
Qualifications
A minimum of a Master's degree in Science or Engineering such as Chemistry, Biophysics, Biochemistry, Physiology, Biomedical Engineering, Skin Biology or related areas is required. A PhD in one of these areas is preferred. A minimum of 5 years of formulation experience is required. Experience in a personal care or OTC environment is required. A preference would be for the individual to have dermatological/ skincare or biopharmaceutical experience. Experience in a supervisory capacity is required. Clinical dermatology and/ or measurement sciences experience is preferred.
The selected individual must demonstrate strong, multi-disciplinary ability to conduct or lead scientific investigation and/or technology development. Demonstrated ability to integrate different areas of science and technology to advance research is also preferred. The selected candidate must have an excellent track record of accomplishments that demonstrates superior abilities to ideate, innovate and deliver results that meet or exceed expectations. Specific innovation experience as part of a cross-functional team are required.
