Main project will be to provide customizations for our Fund Administration Application using XML, SQL and iReports. Other critical tasks will be to provide interfaces between the various applications used in the Fund of Funds department and create a new reporting solution. Highly motivated and able to work in a fast paced highly demanding environment, good communication skills, ability to work directly with the end-user, must be able to work on multiple tasks simultaneously, ability to provide solutions for complex problems and challenges and must be able to work independently. Location:  New York, New York Compensation:   Market Rate  ($80-$100K + Bonus) Manager Title:   Director, IT Hedge Fund Services Position Requirements Bachelor or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related discipline, or proven equivalent in work experience.  3+ years working experience in the IT industry involving software design and development, working experience in developing applications in Java, C#, C++ or other object oriented languages Extensive SQL and stored procedure experience Experienced with XML Strong mathematical and analytical skills Experience and proven skills with ADO.NET developing for MS SQL Server Experience with BI tools like iReports Experience at a financial institution, Fund of Hedge Funds is a huge plus MS Analysis and Reporting Services VBA for Excel to support legacy applications     MIS Ntwk Assoc Mtg Dates: July 19th - Tues Reg Mtg - 6 pm - Berman Larson Kane Offices, Paramus - DO NOT use GPS for directions - Get dir from BLK site - Bring 15 copies of your resume
