The Manager - Global Data & Vendor Quality Management will serve as a critical member of a team responsible for operational risk management of global credit bureau practices and initiatives. The incumbent will assist in governing credit bureau data privacy principles (anonymity, reciprocity, standardization) globally, and will help to ensure markets are protecting information integrity, including secure information exchange. This candidate will drive day-to-day credit bureau quality management for all international markets, working with dedicated credit bureau resources to conduct and manage data quality and vendor security reviews.
Responsibilities
·Facilitate data quality, information integrity, MIS and security reviews (including transaction testing) over credit bureaus and related information providers for American Express’ international markets.
· Assist in the build out of an engagement model for credit bureau relationships that can be leveraged by internal and external partners.
·Work to ensure information exchange practices comply with consumer protection regulations through an awareness of related requirements.
·Assist in enhancing vendor quality management policies and compiling credit data best practices; work to ensure adherence to policies by internal, cross-functional partners and across external credit bureau relationships.
· Conduct annual updates to the risk assessment methodology (Process Risk Self Assessment) to ensure underlying operational risk remains quantified and addressed by the team; Implement and monitor process controls; develop risk mitigation plans for observed control weaknesses.
·Participate in projects related to American Express credit bureau initiatives.
5+ years of IT audit experience is preferred.
Exceptional project management/organizational skills; ability to multitask, prioritize and work under tight deadlines.
Understanding of credit, operational risk management, business technologies and its impact to control practices
Strong data handling and ability to apply statistical/quantitative techniques and methods to drive business results.
Awareness of key consumer protection regulations within a Bank Holding Company environment.
Working knowledge of Credit Card business, Risk and Financial Management platforms is desired.
BA, BS or graduate degree within an analytical or quantitative field is preferred.

The world needs great IT specialists today and it is understandable because everything has been gone digital.
