Position Summary:

The Cyber Defense team is looking for a senior security analyst to perform
information security-related investigations and incident response processes.
Investigations are triggered by reports, alerts, or via Intel received from
information sharing organizations. Incident response processes may be
executed based on the severity of the findings from these investigations.
Our Cyber Defense Team's primary mission is to understand the normal and to
continuously investigate the abnormal.

Responsibilities:

* Gather and analyze data through SIEM-like log aggregation tool

* Triage reports, data feeds, dashboards, and other indicators to
identify anomalies that may warrant further investigation

* Conduct security investigations, gathering, and handling forensic
artifacts as necessary

* Interface with technical and non-technical users to conduct
fact-finding interviews

* Engage the Security Operations Center for assistance analyzing
key events

* Provide root cause analysis and suggestions based on
investigative findings to prevent reoccurrence

* Coordinate with other teams and advocate for improvements to
configurations or technologies, driving remediation's to continually reduce
'noise'

* Review changes to security rule sets

* Participate in on-call rotation for escalated security events

* Coordinate a daily follow the sun handoff status document

Required Skills and Competencies:

Technical Qualifications:

Candidates should be familiar with:

* Data analytics tools such as Sumologic, Splunk, HP-ArcSight

* Breach detection tools such Carbon Black, RSA ECAT

* End Point Protection tools

* Knowledge of leading Proxies

* IDS/IPS tools

* DLP solutions

* Network packet capture tools

* SSL/VPN

* Wireshark

* Vulnerability scanners

* Security fundamentals for Windows, Linux, and major cloud
infrastructure (AWS, Azure)

Non-technical Qualifications:

* BS degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related
field

* 5 or more years of IT Security Experience

* Certified Information Systems Security (CISSP) is strongly
preferred

* Strong analytical and investigative skills

* Sound decision-making skills

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills

* Ability to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment

* Aptitude to provide innovative solutions to problems

* Attentive to detail and self-disciplined

Keys to this Position:

1) We are seeking an Analyst that has experience conducting Cyber
investigations. This individual will look at alerts and notifications and
dive deep to figure out the root cause. This individual will have an
analytical and law enforcement mind set. The Analyst will find out the
vulnerability and develop prevention systems.

2) This is a senior level role. A CISSP is strongly preferred.

most of these technical skills including Data Analytics tools, Breach
Detection tools, End Point Protection tools, etc.

Meeting Coordinator/Senior Meeting Coordinator

As a Meeting Coordinator, you will be responsible for completing detailed assignments in the successful planning and implementation of meetings and events of for our clients. Supporting our Meeting Planners, you will be involved in meetings and events of a variety of types and sizes, including but not limited to National Meetings, Advisory Board Meetings, Incentive Trips, etc.

 

Detailed Responsibilities:

* Coordination of online registration process including tracking and reporting of participants and response rates
* Assist meeting participants with online registration or telephone registration if necessary
* Serve as primary contact for participant calls and questions
* Provide effective and professional client interface and customer service in responding to client questions and requests
* Coordinates all meeting materials preparation including invitations, confirmations, welcome packets, final document mailings, name badges, tent cards, briefing notes, etc.
* Assist Meeting Planners in the development of written materials
* Coordinates participant mailings in accordance with program timetable
* Work with selected vendors on gift selection and other program accessories
* Assists Meeting Planner with physician/speaker availability including confirming availability, coordination of travel arrangements, processing of expenses and honoraria
* Conducts research on various venues and locations
* Conducts space availability searches to accommodate planned meetings and events
* Assists the Meeting Planner in preparation of budgets and proposals. Prepares necessary reports to track project meeting progress including rooming lists, a/d reports, function space grids, meeting evaluations, etc.
* Serve as liaison with on-site travel staff at events
* In accordance with Wg accounting practices, processes all vendor and staff payments and expenses

 

 

Position Requirements:

* Bachelors degree in Business, Hospitality or related discipline or equivalent relevant experience
* Internship or some work experience required for Meeting Coordinator
* Prior experience in all elements of meeting planning. A minimum of 3 years relevant experience is required for Senior Meeting Coordinators
* Pharmaceutical industry experience helpful but not mandatory
* Intermediate skills in Microsoft Word, Access, PowerPoint and Excel including proficiency in Excel formulas and mail merges
* Internet literate
* Excellent writing skills and the ability to create professional business documents
* Strong interpersonal skills and communication skills with the ability to quickly develop trusting, productive relationships with clients, vendors, staff, and all partners
* Demonstrated organizational skills with the strong attention to detail and the ability to multi-task in managing the logistical details of events
* Ability to adhere to tight timetables
* Possesses a service mindset and works with the client needs in mind
* Able to stay calm, composed and professional, even under pressure, and to maintain effective relationships with staff, clients, participants, speakers, etc.
* Must be willing to travel, including weekend travel, ~30%

Position Focus: Manage client's requirements and expectations from beginning to end.

Major Areas of Responsibility

Ability to work flexible, weekends, evenings and holidays. Possess a professional manner and appearance in representing AlliedPRA with clients and community.

Salary: Under 85K + 401K, helath and discretionary bonuses.

The next Northern Fairfield Professionals (NFP) meeting is Tuesday evening,
August 11.

At this meeting we are going to have our normal networking along with a
workshop on the elevator speech.

NFP is where people meet to expand their network connections, as well as
learn the tools needed to advance their careers. Business professionals from
all industries and career levels are welcome to attend our monthly meetings.

Our philosophy is to build reciprocal relationships where business
professionals can exchange ideas, job leads, and build networking skills.

We usually have a guest speaker discuss a topic of interest for business
professionals.

Northern Fairfield Professionals (NFP) meets the 2nd Tuesday of every month
from 5:30 - 8 pm. Attendance to NFP is free.

Networking from 5:30-6:00pm with a speaker presentation from 6:00pm to 7:30.
Networking until 8 pm.

Location: The Knights of Columbus building at Saint Rose in Newtown CT,
located at 46 Church Hill Road; behind Saint Rose church to the far left.

Please go in the entrance for Saint Rose church and drive in back of the
