Listed below are next week's upcoming networking events. Allmeetings are open to the public, plus you are welcome and strongly encouragedto attend. Try going to at least one or two meetings a week, what you learnthere will definitely help shorten your time in transition. Also, many of thesegroups convene in the evening, so it will not take time away from your dailyjob search activities.

Think of these meetings as opportunities, sort of like going toschool, to learn something that can reduce your time in transition by gainingknowledge in job search and interviewing skills needed to excel and standoutfrom your competition.

In traveling to these events, consider car pooling. Not only willit reduce the cost of driving there, but the friendly conversation will makethe ride seem to go much faster.

Construction management company seeks owner's representative to manage the entire construction process, from the foundation stage until receiving sign off.

Position requires synchronizing several residential job sites as followed:
1- Estimating budget based on plan readings, market prices and negotiating with subcontractors.
2- Supervising subcontractor's work on site, overseeing their progress and ensuring working according to approved plans.

Candidate must have:
1- At least 3 years experience as construction administrator, supervising new construction jobs.
2- Excellent interpersonal skills

Overview
Our client is seeking a Data Warehouse Tester to perform the following:
* Develop a test strategy to ensure complete coverage of business requirements, functional and technical specifications.
* Create, maintain and update Regression Test Suite to validate critical and problematic areas of the warehouse and source data
* Validation of data from source application through warehouse feeds to warehouse tables and out to Reports.
* Work with BI team and Data Warehouse developers throughout the SDLC to develop and document test strategy and plan.
* Develop and implement efficient and effective test plans including detailed test cases based on project artifacts, such as business requirements, functional specifications, source to target mappings, analytic specifications and technical specifications for Data Warehousing environments.
* Develop complex SQL scripts that validate business requirements and source to target mapping within the data warehouse.
* Use source applications to research data quality concerns in the Enterprise data warehouse to explain discrepancies in data or to identify issues in translation and load of the data stored in the Enterprise Data Warehouse
* Define and develop appropriate controls to monitor quality of daily and weekly data loads.
* Automate the controls where possible to ensure consistent and efficient testing of the on-going data load.

This is a Contract position for 4 months and in Stamford, CT.

Required Skills
* M.S or B. S. in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or related disciplines
* 8+ years of software test experience
* 5+ years of ETL testing experience
* 1 - 2 years management or lead responsibilities
* Strong backend testing from a data warehouse environment
* Strong skills writing complex SQL queries
* Knowledge of data warehousing concepts (ETL processes, and general knowledge of Business Intelligence)
* Ability to train, mentor and guide others
