Overview

Our client is seeking a Sr. Systems Engineer who will be responsible for
the full project life cycle (analysis, design, testing, implementation and
support) of all Internet networking infrastructure, ensuring that all
hardware, software, policies, and procedures are up to date with industry
best practices.

This full-time employee position is located in Yonkers, NY

Responsibilities:

* Design and coordinate the implementation of the company's Internet
perimeter infrastructure, including Firewalls, BGP routing, DMZ network
monitoring, and/or Internet proxies
* Design and implement VPN (IPSEC, SSSLVPN, L2L Tunnels)
configurations,.
* Design & develop Internet Infrastructure Solutions that are highly
available and support business continuity requirements.
* Design & develop network load balancing solutions.
* Work with IT Security team to ensure a stable environment for
Internet and Intranet applications.
* Work with Network operations (NCC) staff to educate and train staff
in internet technologies.
* Provide on-call 24x7 support when required.
* Works with business areas, vendors and other system professionals to
identify, design and implement innovative internet solutions.
* Evaluate new technologies and making recommendations for products
that support the Internet Infrastructure.
* Participate in workflow and policy improvements.

Skills and Qualifications

* In Depth Technical Knowledge of Checkpoint & Cisco ASA Firewalls
* In Depth Technical Knowledge of VPN/remote access solutions
* In Depth Technical Knowledge of Cisco routing & switching
* Load Balance: NETSCALER OR F5
* Education: Bachelors OR experience in a similar position

Position Summary:

The Corporate Applications Systems Analyst will be responsible for
supporting systems for the Finance and Human Resources business areas,
including systems spanning revenue and invoicing, incentive compensation,
financial planning and analysis, project costing, and accounting
applications. This is a role which requires a high level of interaction
with business professionals in Finance and HR, as well as excellent
technical, analytical, communication, and troubleshooting skills. Support
and integration of third party products and internal interfaces is also an
important part of the role.

The Corporate Applications Systems Analyst will contribute to the support
and testing of both internally developed and third party systems, as well as
the deployment of such systems. This role will require a high degree of
interaction with end users, other analysts, software engineers,
infrastructure teams, and external vendors. Providing support for firm wide
initiatives such as disaster recovery testing, system upgrades, security
audits, and infrastructure upgrades will also be part of this role.

Required Skills and Competencies:

* Strong SQL query skills and experience with Oracle/SQL Server
databases and familiarity with related tools

* Troubleshooting experience on Java-based applications.

* Strong analytical and problem solving skills with an attention to
detail

* Demonstrate strong client focus and relationship management
skills

* Strong crisis and incident management skills

* Demonstrated data analysis skills

* Familiarity with creating and configuring SharePoint sites is a
plus.

* Experience/Familiarity with AWS is a plus.

* Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related discipline

* 2+ years' demonstrable experience in a similar support role.

Keys to this Position:

1. This is a junior role (3 to 7 years of experience). We are seeking
someone that is eager to learn.

2. SQL skills are required.

3. Good communication skills are required.

4. Domain: ideally the candidate will have experience as a Systems Analyst
supporting Finance and Accounting applications. Financial Services is a
plus.

5. Experience supporting packaged applications such as Cornerstone
OnDemand, Innotas and Revport are desired.

6. Experience troubleshooting Java based applications is desired.
