We are searching for a program manager who:

• will take ownership of all logistics and oversee on-site operations 
• write specs for the event 
• manage budget preparation and reconciliation 
• oversee communication with venue and sponsors to ensure that all deadlines for sponsors and deliverables are met 
• prior to the event,  manage vendors/suppliers  
• coordinate with hotel, AV company, transportation and other contractors to ensure seamless event 
• manage team of on site trip directors and temps 
• create on-site staffing schedule for staff and TD's 
• be responsible for managing space utilization at the event 
• oversee execution of the meeting on site 

  
  

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years experience in all aspects of meeting and event management including supervisory experience, on site logistics experience, experience managing a conference of 1000+ people.

 

 Must have a track record of creative and innovative approaches for conferences.  The person must be able to work in a multi-tasking office, have a comfort level with all forms of technology.

 

 

 

 

The position is in NYC.  No relocation package is being offered. No virtual opportunities are being considered.
