Tradeshow & Partner Marketing Manager
Pearl River, NY
On-Net Surveillance Systems, Inc.
The Tradeshow & Partner Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and executing OnSSI tradeshows and programs aligned to the business strategy and priorities for customer-facing events. We are seeking a high energy, creative marketing and event production professional that has a desire to be part of a fast paced environment. The Tradeshow Manager plans the layout, design, installation, use, and dismantling of OnSSI's exhibit booths at 5 to 7 major security industry tradeshows per year, plus numerous smaller regional shows. This position supports all pre-event, on-site, and post-show activities.
The Tradeshow & Partner Marketing Manager is accountable for negotiating and managing exhibit and general marketing expenses, reconciling and reporting those expenses to management monthly. Strategic thinking about ways to gain maximum exposure and impact at shows and events is encouraged.
Responsibilities:
* Manage, coordinate and plan all aspects of tradeshows and events including venue selection, housing, food and beverage, invitation process, internal communications, registration, travel, A/V and technical coordination with engineers, production, staging, negotiating with vendors, staffing, exhibitions, and on-site logistics.
* Implement and manage production schedule establishing deadlines and target dates for all areas of event production, including monthly budget forecasts, marketing, show registration, transportation, housing, post-show activities, and any other action items related to the event.
* Organize and lead internal and external event planning meetings.
* Manage vendor relationships and negotiations.
* Work with general services contractor to manage all aspects of the expositions, including move-in schedules, exhibitor install and dismantle, move-out, and exhibitor activities.
* Analyze and recommend marketing opportunities in association with tradeshows and events including speaking engagements, awards submissions, digital marketing and premium production.
* Work with the marketing manager to design preshow communications shows & events, and submit information for exhibit directories, program guides and sponsorships.
* Oversee the vetting of tradeshow leads, incorporation into Salesforce database, dissemination, and marketing communications follow up.
* Complete post-event tasks including reconciliation of expenses, evaluation and reporting on event results, ROI analysis, and managing post show surveys and communications.
* Manage the general marketing budget for events and other marketing department initiatives, including purchase order creation, expense tracking, monthly reconciliation, and reporting.
Required Skills and Experience:
* 4+ years experience managing tradeshows and corporate events.
* Bachelor's Degree in related field. (+CMP preferred)
* Must be willing to travel up to 25% of the time.
* Experience in a high-technology environment preferred.
* Demonstrates effective communication and interpersonal skills.
* Strong organizational skills and demonstrated ability to meet tight deadlines in an environment of competing priorities.
* Proven ability to routinely work on multiple tasks with multiple people while effectively prioritizing.
* Solve unforeseen situations as they arise in a calm manner.
* Outstanding project management skills
* The ability to work independently and with minimum direction.
* Ability to use computer software, including MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.
* Experience with using tools such as Salesforce.com for reporting and calendaring.

Blauvelt, NY - Rockland County
Itermedia Events & Conference Group, One of New Yorks Premier Special Event Management Company has an immediate Six (6) week event coordinator consulting engagement.
Start date is 12/30/14 concluding 1/30/15. Job is to assist the Development Director of a non for profit agency based in Blauvelt New York (lower Rockland County) on a Gala dinner.
Candidate must have 2+ years of event management experience.
The job is office based. Compensation is a flat $3,000 payable in two installments (after 3 weeks and at the conclusion of the engagement) plus a gas allowance. Ideal candidate resides within a 50 mile driving radius of Blauvelt NY.
