Bridgewater Library, September 15, 4:30-7:30 pm

Bridgewater, NJ. September 1, 2011. – Visit the Bridgewater Library on Thursday, September 15 from 4:30 -7:30 pm to find out how the library can help job seekers land a new job. The NJWorks@YourLibrary Open House will also include community partners from local government, civic and non-profit groups. These local organizations, among them the Somerset County Board of Social Services and the Somerville/Flemington One Stop, plus the Somerset County Library System (SCLS) are all geared towards helping job seekers in all facets of their lives as they move through the unemployment period.

SCLS is already a community asset for information needs for local residents. Its services and programs that are geared towards job seekers are perhaps not as widely known. Classes on basic computer use, business related databases, programs about looking for positions as an age 40+ worker, plus one on one help with resumes are among the services SCLS provides to local residents.

Community partners are equally positioned to help job seekers during unemployment. The Open House is an opportunity to find out more about these organizations plus the services of SCLS. Organizations scheduled to participate include: Central Jersey Housing Resource Center, Employment Works! At Richard Hall Community Mental Health Center, the Neighbor to Neighbor Employment Network Jewish Family Services, Raritan Valley Community College, Somerset County Board of Social Services, Somerville/Flemington One Stop, and The Career Forum at the Somerset Hills YMCA.

Description:
To assist in the administration and support of our clients financial systems including the General Ledger/Accounts Payable and Consolidation/Forecasting & Planning systems. This will require complying with internal control procedures, troubleshooting system issues and independently managing small projects. This role is important in enabling the Corporate Financial Systems Group to develop more efficient processes and implement new technology to better serve the clients finance community as well as allowing clients to deliver their financial numbers and reports in a timely manner. In addition, the Financial Systems Analyst will also have significant interaction with staff of all levels in Corporate and other Divisions on a daily basis.
Job Responsibilities
1. System administration of Corporate financial systems including the General Ledger, Consolidations and Financial Planning, SOX compliance systems. Duties include Maintaining and managing the chart of accounts, entity hierarchies, user security and financial reporting tools. This will be 35% of your day
2. Troubleshoot and provide training and client support for the General Ledger, Consolidations, SOX Compliance, and T&E systems. Interaction with employees in all Corporate departments and other divisions. This will be 20% of your day
3. Process monthly interfaces into GL from Accounts Payable, Payroll, Treasury and T&E systems including reconciliation and analysis for audit purposes. Responsible for monthly GL consolidation procedure including maintenance of mapping tables, exporting and importing files, and providing reports for Corporate Accounting Department. This will be 15% of your day
4. Write and update training and systems procedures documentation using Microsoft Word, Power Point, Excel and Longview LRAL. This will be 10 % of your day
5. Maintain and furnish documentation and audit information to internal and external auditors for Sarbanes- Oxley compliance. This will be 10% of your day
6. Act as liaison between Corporate Accounting staff and IT personnel. Assist in implementation of new systems and upgrades. This will be 10% of your day
Education and Certifications

4 Year degree, Accounting or MIS major preferred
Experience

2-5 years accounting experience. Experience with general ledger or consolidations software systems a must. Systems administration experience and working knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley compliance/internal controls very helpful.
Specialized Knowledge

Strong Excel skills required. Microsoft Access and Power Point beneficial. Knowledge of Khalix Consolidations and Planning, PeopleSoft General Ledger, Paisley Risk Navigator, Gelco ExpenseLink and Cognos Reporting systems is a plus.
Skills

Requires excellent organization skills, including the ability to effectively handle and complete multiple tasks. Strong communications and effective business writing skills also important.

Position Summary:    
 
This role will lead a team of  3 - 5 telecommunications technicians, engineers, and vendors, who design, install, support, and maintain in-house communications systems with PBX's and call center systems. This includes configuring, diagnosing, repairing, upgrading, and optimizing all VoIP and TDM telephone systems, voicemail and PBX communication systems, Call Center Systems, Unified Communications Systems, and conferencing environments. This is a demanding technical management position and requires extensive hands-on engineering abilities in addition to management skills.
 
 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 
 
Management of Healthfirst’s Telecommunications Technicians, their day to day activities including system adds, moves and deletes and management of Healthfirst's  telecommunication systems and vendors, including contract negotiations. Must also manage Telecommunication cost management and charge monitoring.
Manage capacity planning for all telephony services and equipment and setting up Telecommunication infrastructure in new offices
Conduct monthly maintenance of Telecommunication systems and associated peripherals.
Manage disaster recovery of Telecommunication infrastructure and major moves and installations.
Manage Healthfirst's cell phones and black berrys.
Expense Management and monitoring.
After hours on-call support is required.  These hours can be unpredictable at times.
 
Work Experience/Qualifications:
 
The employee is required to have at least 8 years of relevant work experience, with a minimum of 5 - 8 years of supervisory / management experience overseeing a telecommunications support team.  The management experience must be in a reputed company with an environment of at least 1,000 users and a call center with 150 agents.
 
The employee is required to have a proven track record in utilizing Project management skills and strong organizational skills.

We are conducting a search for VP of  Marketing,  on behalf of our client, a leading IP, Ethernet, and optical- services provider. The position offers base pay ranging from $160K to $200K plus bonus  depending on experience and current salary. The position is based in NY.
The Vice President of Marketing is a key new leadership role which aims to bring together all existing Marketing functions that are dispersed among current organizations as well as build some new capabilities that will be crucial for the continued growth trajectory of the company. This role will essentially be responsible for driving demand for the company's services and for positioning the company as a market leader in providing data transport connectivity for enterprise & carrier customers. Responsibilities:  Marketing Communications: Product Development & Management: Training:  and Strategic Marketing:
Requirements:
-          At least 15 years experience running a broad Marketing function within the telecom services or equipment space with at least 5 years in a senior management role.
-          Bachelor's degree with an MBA preferable.
-          Significant experience managing a Market organization of at least 20 people.
-          Strong experience with measurable/visible success in developing Marketing. Communications programs for a company of comparable size including the use of social media

Summary
We are seeking a talented, process oriented Project Management candidate with strong Fixed Income product, & operational workflow experience.  Individual will be required to support short-term integration project. 
 
 
Duties and Responsibilities

Provide Project Management to integration project;
Coordination / creation of user requirements documents, functional specs, project plans, test scripts, & performing integration, regression, & UAT testing;
Interface with business users and subject matter experts to define requirements and refine the details necessary for enhancements to current infrastructure;
Communicate status and report issues to the Business & IT management.
 
Qualifications & Required Skill Set
