Position Summary:

The Equity Trading team is seeking a senior software engineer to be an
integral member of the development team responsible for developing the Firm'
s next generation Equity Trading System.

Key Responsibilities;

As a senior member of this team, the individual will have the following
responsibilities:

· Technical design, implementation, deployment, and support of the
Equity Trading systems
· Partner with Business Analysts to review and implement business
requirements
· Partner with Project Managers, Technical and QA Leads on
estimates, statuses, identify issues and raise risks
· Stay current with evolving Trading industry and technical trends
to ensure systems and team are of highest caliber

Keys to this Position:

1. This is a strong hands-on client side developer with Microsoft
technologies.
2. Technical requirement: .Net version 3.5 or greater, C#, GUI client
application developer (not web developer). WPF, WCF, Winforms is a plus.
We are looking for a GUI application developer, not a website developer.
3. Financial Services, Trading Systems, or similar experience is a big
plus.
4. Must come out of an environment that has similar complexities to
building trading systems applications. High volume – Complex – Mission
Critical
5. You are looking for the ability to grow and take on complicated tasks

Required Skills and Competencies:

The ideal candidate must have excellent communication skills and proven
ability to design and deliver solutions relevant to complex business
problems.

· Four years of .net development experience using C#
· Solid experience with the .Net frameworks version 3.5+
· WPF or WCF is considered a strong plus
· Strong analysis, design and modeling skills
· Strong knowledge and experience with message technologies (e.g.
