An experienced senior network engineer is needed to provide the Network
Services team with complimentary skills to support the user community.
Candidates will posses expertise in managing a complex LAN and WAN
environment across numerous business units and geographical locations.

Detailed Responsibilities:
· Provide Tier 2 and/or Tier 3 network support for a complex
enterprise WAN and LAN network
· Troubleshoot and identify sources of problems, working with
equipment vendors and telecom providers to bring issues to resolution.
· Monitor and resolve service requests in accordance with published
SLAs.
· Must possess strong leadership qualities
· Strong communications skills across many concurrent deployments
with the ability to communicate details to the project teams and clearly
communicate status to management
· Establish and enforce best practice processes for network
management, including configurations, monitoring, patch management and
security
· Oversee hardware deployments for domestic and international
initiatives
· Oversee compliance with change control and release management
processes
Keys to this Position:
1. Technical: We are seeking a strong Network Engineer with the following
strengths: Cisco, CatOS, IOS and NxOS switches, and GSS.
2. Also advanced working knowledge of routing protocols including OSPF, BGP
and RIP.
3. We will look at a strong Network Engineer that is not yet at the Senior
level, but has very strong aptitude.
Required Skills and Competencies:
· Advanced Working knowledge (from a management perspective) of
complex LAN and Wan environments, including VoIP. Cisco device programming
and troubleshooting including routers CatOS and IOS switches, ASA, ACE, CSS,
VPN and wireless. Knowledge of Riverbed Steelhead, Infoblox DNS and F5 DNS
is a plus. Avaya VoIP is a plus.
· Advanced working knowledge of routing protocols including OSPF and
BGP.
· 5+ years Cisco networking experience
· Emphasis on sharing of knowledge through good communications, peer
training and written documentation
· Strong inter-personal skills
· Positive customer service and team attitude (helping others when
required)
· Focused on quality

· Willingness to travel as required to remote sites during large
deployments, as needed.

1. We need someone with extensive experience writing for institutional

On another list, there's been a couple of emails about LinkedIn privacy settings that have crept onto their system in the recent past.

After you login, from the drop down menu under your name in the upper right corner select Settings, then look at two of the boxes near the bottom: Account; and Groups, Companies and Applications.

Account has "Manage Social Advertising" and "Turn on/off enhanced advertising". Groups, Companies and Applications has "Turn on/off data sharing with 3rd party applications". All these were on by default for my account.

• Participate in the other core day-to-day roles and responsibilities as part of the Multi-Channel Management Strategy team (20%): These include
o Defining, planning, and executing additional strategic multi-channel related projects with limited direction, as assigned to the manager
o Budget planning & management for the specific projects assigned to the manager
Qualifications
• Experience in multi-channel work (e.g., web/digital channels, telephone, mail), preferably in the Pharmaceutical context with a focus on physicians
• Strong background in strategy development / strategy consulting
• Demonstrated proficiency at managing complex multi-faceted projects by effectively prioritizing plans and deliverables, and collaborating effectively with a multi-functional team
• Good communication skills, including presentations, PowerPoint/written, meeting facilitation, and one-on-one/small group
• Quantitative skills, including proficiency with excel

Job Description
OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE JOB
Our client is currently reviewing its systems and process architecture to ensure we have processes and platforms to further enhance our excellent customer services and to develop new organisational capabilities to transform our business into new markets and into offering world-class customer service.
We are entering into a very exciting phase of our evaluation, where IT and customer service are driving the business forward, we are a truly world class customer experience organisation.
We therefore require a very senior project manager with a high degree of professional integrity, gravitas and at least 10 years' experience in delivery in a shipping or logistic environment who can lead a major high profile project to deliver a step change in our Art Transport business
We need a very senior individual who can work closely with clients and stakeholders to deliver in a matrix based environment.
Key Responsibilities/Tasks
(Duties include but are not limited to the following)
· Very quickly to gain understanding on all issues, build roadmap plans with all stakeholders to take the business forward, build and manage work streams to solve issues.
· Risk & Issue Management - Identify record, manage and mitigate risks, to prevent those becoming issues. Resolve issues, escalating as necessary.
· Project Planning & Monitoring & Reporting - Develop and maintain detailed and realistic project plans using appropriate tools. Identify and manage project dependencies and the critical path. Monitor tasks, milestones and resources weekly against the project plan. Manage and co-ordinate the delivery of each stage of the project from the various providers and resources (business requirements, high level design, detailed design, build and test) to quality, time and budget.
· Reporting - Provide regular reports and updates in line with PAO requirements and business stakeholder requirements.
· Liaison with Portfolio/Project Assurance Office to assure the overall direction and integrity of the project including Stage Gate and Project Reviews. Ensure projects adhere to our client's methodologies and standards. Help improve and define project methodologies and standards.
· Scope Management and Change Control - agree project objectives, scope, deliverables, timescales and budgets. Manage changes in project scope or requirements, negotiating as necessary with business stakeholders.
· Resource Management, Coaching and Mentoring - Lead and motivate the project existing team and to build a highly effective team of both internal and 3rd party resources.
· Third-party and Supplier relationship Management.

· Solid academic credentials (preferably a BA Hons 2.1 degree for UK candidates).
· Working with Geographically dispersed teams.
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and MS Project.
Occasional international travel may be required.
