Because of a nature of the project, the client requests that only local US Citizens and Green Card holders should apply.
 
SKILLS:
  • 5+ years experience in Software Quality Engineering
  • Proficiency in setting-up and execution of Business / User Acceptance Testing cases (BAT / UAT)
  • Strong knowledge of HP Quality Center or other test management software tools
  • Familiarity with systems/application development is a PLUS 
  • Prior experience working with SalesForce.com is a PLUS 
  • Work experience in Cable, Information Systems, and/or Engineering is a PLUS
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, Visio and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work well in team settings and with other departments/divisions at varying levels of management.
  • Ability to work closely with development team during all aspects of the development process
  • Positive attitude, detail oriented, and have the ability to balance competing priorities in a dynamic/fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Bachelor's Degree
 
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Document test plans according to team specified guidelines and schedules
  • Perform analysis of requirements/design documentation and business processes as inputs for test planning/execution
  • Perform execution of test plans according to team specified guidelines and schedules
  • Identify and document defects found during testing phases
  • Support application development team in the resolution of any defects identified during test
  • Perform peer review of requirements and design documentation
  • Perform peer review of Business Acceptance Testing (BAT) and Systems Integration Testing (SIT) test plans
  • Provide input into sizing/scope of BAT testing efforts
  • Support team leadership in the analysis and compilation of testing metrics
  • Report status of activities as directed by team leadership
  • Conduct cross-training and functional presentations of functionality for business resources, as needed
  • Punctual, regular, and consistent attendance
  • Other related duties as assigned
