Senior Solutions
Architect -
Storage Consultant
with an
engineering
background with a
minimum of seven
years experience
in the field
consulting,
designing and
implementing
technology
solutions,
specifically Fibre
Channel and iSCSI
SAN architectures.
Position also
requires solid
presales
experience with
strong customer
facing and
presentation
skills.
Position
requirements:
* An
in-depth
understanding of Data Management and Protection methodologies including email archiving, CDP, SAN, NAS, DAS, Fibre Cannel and iSCSI SAN technology, Backup and Data Replication
* Able to
design
disaster
recovery
and
business
continuity
solutions
for
commercial
enterprises
* Good
knowledge
of or
experience
with data
archiving
technology
* Implementation experience and Certification with at least one of the following vendors; EMC, Symantec, CommVault and Networker is required
* Solid
understanding of Disk Deduplication appliances and software, tape libraries and Server Technology
* Strong
knowledge
of
Windows,
some Unix
or Linux
knowledge
desirable
* Certifications:
* VCP
* SAN certifications: Brocade, Cisco or SNIA
* EMC Technical Architect
* Compellent Top Gun SA
* Knowledge
of Federal
Regulations and compliance a plus
The Senior
Solutions
Architect is
responsible for
the following:
* Providing
data
management
centric
assessments to provided data protection, storage and capacity optimization strategies, particularly for virtual infrastructures
* Conducting
initial
customer
conferences, creating roadmap strategies, architectural solutions and drawings
* Designing
datacenter
infrastructure with a team of solutions architects and solution engineers, in multi-disciplinary projects.
This position
requires up to 50%
travel nationally.
