[itroundtable] NY Exchange User Group 10th Anniversary Jeopardy Meeting on Tuesday

NY Exchange User Group Member

Greetings!

Last month's session on Managed Availability and troubleshooting tips are on the NYExUG website. Thanks to Jay Cotton (PFE) for his work on this.

Talk about timing, 2 clients of mine had OAB errors the same week that required some serious OAB repair on 2010. I guess the stars were aligned this week. Thankfully it's only a GAL issue, and nothing more serious.

This month's meeting is our annual Exchange Jeopardy Challenge and due to our 10th Anniversary (yes NYExUG is 10 Years Old!!!!) we have an AWESOME Grand Prize, a Microsoft Surface Pro 3 128GB and lots of other cool prizes. See you on Tuesday!

 Topic: Cisco Unified Communications:
An Evening with Cisco Systems &
            Alliant Technologies

Cisco Presentation
Business offices have changed over the centuries as management theory, materials and technology have evolved. The pace of this change is increasing, and the nature of the change now includes where and how people work together.

This session explores some of the drivers that are changing the nature of work and key factors to consider when developing the next generational workplace. Learn how Cisco is taking a user centric approach and delivering a consistent collaborative experience to its customers.

Alliant Presentation
Progressive IT leaders are focused on driving business value and top line growth to their company. In order to focus their IT organization on projects that transform their business, rather than just keep the lights on, these leaders are challenging the traditional IT infrastructure delivery model. Alliant's Continuous Infrastructure Service (CIS), an IT utility consumption model, is the solution to their challenge.  CIS enables IT leaders to focus on their strategic initiatives, while reducing shadow IT and IT churn.  By re-imagining how IT is delivered, IT leaders gain the agility and flexibility needed to meet their dynamic business needs and ensure that their IT infrastructure stays running at peak performance.
