Position Overview:
This position will lead and support various Portfolio related activities across the Pharm R&D Portfolio. Primary responsibilities for this role will focus on the R&D Governance Model and the Portfolio. The Governance Model consists of a Committee which includes a joint partnership between the R&D Business and the IT Organization. This committee is responsible for assessing and determining the portfolio of investments for the IT organization. Additionally, this role will provide support to various portfolio related activities related to the Portfolio. The scope of "portfolio" may be applied to all IT investments, financials, resources, including IT assets and labor resources.

Position is an Ad Hoc member of the following teams:
1.Pharm PPA
2.R&D IT

Primary Duties:
1.Lead activities related to R&D Portfolio Governance Process (70)
a.Handle all day-to-day coordination for generating Meeting materials pre/post meetings
b.Work with various levels of Leadership and their teams to collect, review and communicate progress
c.Collaborate with Finance to ensure alignment between Portfolio tool and their data
d.Update SharePoint site status and slides pre/post meeting
e.Generate meeting materials (agenda, process slides, etc.)
f.Develop, analyze and maintain portfolio dashboard
g.Manage Meeting follow-ups

2.Assist with PMO related activities (30%)
a.Facilitate project & resource planning and management processes that includes macro level resource estimation. Mature IS/AS Investment planning and 90 Day Capacity process
b.Ensures the completeness and accuracy of portfolio data with project managers and other stakeholders, including Senior Management.
c.Maintain formal improvement plans for portfolio activities (i.e.Track and respond to VP requests, recommend continuous improvement opportunities)
d.Drive awareness of information on IT assets and create transparency to key cost drivers.
e.Drive Total Cost of Ownership awareness for Business Critical Applications & establish framework for non-critical apps and services.
f.Analyze and develop presentations for portfolio governance processes and reviews.
g.Provide education and support for the portfolio related data and processes.
h.Collaborate with peers to develop and execute portfolio and capacity planning processes within Pharm and across the sectors. Continually strive to improve and evolve processes and develop organizational competencies in project planning and execution, resource management and benefit realization.

Qualifications
Education: BS/BA degree is required
Experience/Qualifications:
The successful candidate must possess a Bachelor's degree (Business or Computer Science preferred).
A minimum of 8-10 years progressive IT work experience is required.
Strong end-to-end process development/ management
Ability to think strategically and work independently is a must. Work through ambiguity.
Must be highly analytical with a focus on business results. Ability to analyze data, translate into meaningful dashboards/metrics for executive audiences
Must be a results-driven with ability to effectively execute a variety of activities concurrently in a rapid manner across local and global organizations.
Strong communication and collaboration skills are required.
Strong knowledge of portfolio management methodologies and tools, including project selection methods, prioritization processes, and models to support portfolio decision making.
Coordinate across functional groups
Create process documentation and reporting
Strong knowledge of program and project management processes and financial processes are required.
Strong technical acumen and leadership.
Strong presentation, facilitation and communication skills and the ability to influence without authority are required.
Ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization.

Ginny has taught the Tools and Assessments for Guidance and Career

Job Title: Director Systems Operations
Location: NYC, NY â€" Penn Plaza
Salary : $120,000 + benefits + Perks.

Job Description:

The Director Systems Operations is responsible for execution of the IT departmental strategies, planning, and managing of all activities within an assigned IT area. This will include design, development, deployment and support of multiple IT systems and environments, including maintenance and enhancement projects utilizing a variety of legacy and new computing architectures. The Director Systems Operations is responsible for ensuring all strategies are met and assigned projects are implemented on time and within budget; maintaining open communication with the respective customers, ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the delivery process, and building the organization by taking an active role in managing the careers of the people within the organization. The Director Systems Operations position is ultimately responsible for keeping all infrastructure up and operational 7 days a week, 24 hours a day for systems with direct impact on revenue stream
and to support all events. This position also has responsibility in the initial planning and analysis on any new system or initiative and is involved in the analysis and selection of all new business systems.

Additionally, you will work as part of other teams to ensure that the infrastructure design and supporting processes will provide high reliability to our users.

Job Qualifications:

The Ideal candidate will have 10 years of experience in Information Technology design and development, including implementation and installation in an on-line business critical environment, or equivalent experience working as a business unit representative on IT development projects.
7 years of strong management or leadership experience.
The Director Systems Operations will have an overall general understanding of IT systems, with specific detailed knowledge in their area of expertise. Knowledge of MSG's business practices and/or industries is desirable.
Bachelor's degree in Business (or Management), Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline, or equivalent work experience is required.
Additionally, managerial experience should include: mentoring and training a technical organization, improving client resolution metrics, and measuring team performance. Strong understanding of the ITIL framework preferred ITILv3 Foundations Certified.

Client is seeking a Project Manager with experience in estimating development costs when working with offshore outsourcing vendors.  Will be involved in creating an Estimation Center of Excellence. 
 
Pharmaceutical Project Manager- Bridgewater, NJ

This is a true PM, needed to create and manage plans in MS Project. Also communicate status & manage issues with clients. They will work in conjunction with the Implementation lead (TPM). Data Reporting Analyst   
 
Position Description  
The Data Reporting Analyst is responsible for the compilation of financial and operational scorecards and dashboard information for business leadership to assess progress toward stated departmental and infrastructure objectives. This position works with Business and cross-functional teams to develop business requirements to drive functional specifications for reporting. This position reports to IT Service Cost Manager and is part of the Informatics- Infrastructure Service Management team;
 
Main areas of responsibility:
-Provide input on requirements for databases to ensure data is organized properly for reporting/analytics by understanding how data flows within various systems.
-Drive processes and technology improvement initiatives for the products, using standard project methodology (requirements, design, test, etc.).
-Produce, publish and distribute scheduled and ad-hoc client and operational reports, ensuring data integrity and completeness.
-Engage users in analysis and evaluation of functional models and prototypes; identify dependencies and priorities.
-Identify and develop new reporting methods and tool that will lead to improvement in key metrics.
-Streamline and automate processes and reports.
-Use data to identify trends, patterns and opportunities for the business and clients.

- Interface with Business Users for the establishment and approval of all requirements and for the data validation of all BI deliverables.

Position Description
The Senior Business Analyst will work closely with Supply Business group leaders and cross-functional Informatics team members to manage small to large scale strategic related initiatives to ensure that the systems being developed are aligned with the requirements of the business community. This position will report to the Director, Account Management within the Informatics Business Operations (IBO) Department.
 
Main areas of responsibility:
- Required to understand the needs, goals and expectations of the users and communicate these to the technical staff.
- Identify and develop business requirements, as well as system test plans.
- Create project charters, business process diagrams and detailed business requirements for applications that support Supply Chain departments.
- Assist in managing the Supply Chain Project Portfolio and prioritize new demand.
