New Job Club:

Tuesdays, from 9:30 - 11:30am: The Willow GrovePresbyterian Church's Job Search Work Team meets weekly to support each otherin their job search. Using a concept that has been proven to be effective overthe past 20 years, participants share with each other the steps they have takenin their job search during the past week, indicate what steps they plan to takein the coming week, and hold each other accountable for taking those actions.The participants share techniques that have worked for them, and suggestapproaches to their fellow searchers. This group is for those who are seriousabout their search, committed to both receiving and giving support to fellowjob searchers, and realize that accountability for doing what you say is alarge part of your search. Responsibilities:

Palestina, an Executive Coach, who will give a presentation titled: Developing an Effective Job Search
Strategy.  Based on the job search
programs at the world's leading global management firms, there are 10 distinct
components of an effective job search strategy. In this highly interactive
discussion, we will identify all of the components, while focusing on how to
create and execute the 4 or 5 most relevant components.  In addition, we will discuss the relationship
between your resume and your LinkedIn profile (what to include and what not to
include), time management (where are you spending your time) and other methods
for searching for your next role (contingency or retained recruiters, social
media, direct mail).  The meeting is at

Presbyterian Church's Job Search Work Team meets weekly to support each other
in their job search. Using a concept that has been proven to be effective over
the past 20 years, participants share with each other the steps they have taken
in their job search during the past week, indicate what steps they plan to take
in the coming week, and hold each other accountable for taking those actions.
The participants share techniques that have worked for them, and suggest
approaches to their fellow searchers. This group is for those who are serious
about their search, committed to both receiving and giving support to fellow
job searchers, and realize that accountability for doing what you say is a
large part of your search. The group meets in the church hall each Tuesday. For
