The Strategic Program Office of Fordham University's IT Department, located at our Rose Hill campus in the Bronx, NY, is currently seeking a Director for Business Intelligence to define the information, reporting and analytical needs of the University's key stakeholders, and develop goals, strategies and plans to achieve a vision of sustainable competitive advantages through the strategic use of information. In this key role, you will lead and manage the resources of the Business Intelligence Group to execute business plans and develop processes designed to achieve the University's established goal of becoming an "information broker". You will be responsible for defining, analyzing and prioritizing the information, self-service reporting, and analytical needs of Fordham's key stakeholder groups, and developing and communicating goals, strategies, tactics, project plans, timelines, milestones, and key performance metrics for advancing the University's "information broker" vision, as well as developing and managing supporting and related business processes. You will communicate plans and progress with senior management on a regular basis; direct, coordinate and evaluate staff; keep current with the direction of the business and the needs of internal customers; and establish and maintain excellent inter-departmental communication so that roles, requirements, dependencies, decisions, and work processes are clearly articulated and understood.

To qualify, a Bachelor's Degree in a related field is required. Advanced degree (Master's or Ph.D.) in Business, Mathematics, Statistics, Public Health, Epidemiology or related field is strongly preferred. Must have a minimum of 8 years of progressively responsible experience in a directly related area, demonstrating professional and management capability. Thorough knowledge of business intelligence tools (e.g. WebFOCUS, Cognos) and demonstrated expertise in developing analytical solutions, data management and warehousing, and the strategic use of information are required. We seek an individual with experience managing large and complex business intelligence and data workhouse projects and proven leadership skills who can clearly establish and articulate a vision, set goals, develop and execute strategies, and track and measure results, as well as build and motivate a team to achieve well-communicated expectations. You must be able to work effectively across internal functional areas in situations where clear parameters may not be present. A broad understanding of higher education is beneficial, although similar experience in other business fields will be considered favorably. Familiarity with Higher Education and University administrative software and toolsets (e.g. Banner) is desirable.

Position Summary:

My client is looking for a Recognized Technical Expert in the persistent
surveillance marketplace - (EO/IR, & Sensors)

As a Market Segment Systems Engineer you will be part of the Technology
Office reporting to the CTO with a dotted line to the Product Management
group.

Position Responsibilities:

· Gather and define system engineering requirements for a segment
(EO/IR, & Sensors) in persistent surveillance

· Convey those requirements to internal / external constituencies
with the twin goals of: - Ensuring the right technical information to make
product architecture decisions - Generating business development
opportunities for current and future product and / or service offerings.

· Work closely with Business Development and Product Management to
make product roadmap decisions that will fuel future growth

· Promote products and services in the context of solving
system-level problems. Work with Product System Engineers to help translate
market requirements into product requirements.

Required Skills and Competencies:

· BS/MS degree in engineering or computer science.

· A minimum of 10 years system engineering experience - analyzing,
designing, and building end-to-end C4ISR Systems with a strong emphasis on
the target market segment. (Persistent Surveillance)

· Must have strong subject matter knowledge in one or more of the
areas regarded as Persistent Surveillance – EO/IR & Sensors or other related
technologies – Need to be able to work directly with clients
gathering/determining requirements, doing technical design and architecture
and acting as a bridge to Product Engineering & Product Line Management.

2 Key Points:

1. We need people that have been actively involved in the development of
EO/IR sensor processing systems, so they understand the key technology
drivers associated with doing these kind of things.

2. Scope of technology understanding (embedded processor, switch fabric,
environmental specifications, software at multiple levels, OS, signal/image
processing libraries, middleware and overall application categories.

· Prior experience evaluating various hardware / software technology
tradeoffs in the development of a system-level C4ISR solutions.

· Prior experience planning technology insertions and evaluating
technical refresh levels.

· Prior experience providing direction and guidance to less
experienced engineers across a cross-functional engineering organization.

Responsibilities: Position Summary:
Provides upkeep and recommendations regarding functional aspects of Human Resource Information System. Facilitates efficient systems operation to meet current and future business needs within Human Resources while ensuring continuity and successful delivery of functional services to users throughout the organization.

*Fosters and maintains positive relationships with HRIS constituents, including senior management, and the HRMS customer base. Serves as an interface between internal/external customers and the functional team members to ensure effective definition of and delivery of HRMS applications. Provides overall prioritization of work assignments and management of functional team resources and their activities.
*Provides input for planning, HRIS needs and applications as well as maintaining awareness of vendor plans and the potential impact of those plans on current and future HRIS functionality.
*Builds and maintains a strong functional presence for HRIS product.
*Stays abreast of upgrades and fixes to system as communicated by Ceridian & Oracle and develops recommendations and plans for system maintenance and upgrade from a functional viewpoint.
*Maintains and troubleshoots HR data extracts and related issues.

Requirements: Knowledge and skills required:
*Bachelor's Degree and five to seven years of HRIS experience.

Today, StreamSage powers video search for a number of Comcast´s innovative video applications on the TV, web, and mobile device. Tomorrow StreamSage is planning to power the emerging paradigms that connect users to video content, and to open up its technology to a number of other video providers and distributors.

Duties:
·Partner with and informally educate management to proactively address employee relations/morale issues.
·Act as a resource to employees on all HR matters.
·Inform, educate and disseminate information on all human resources programs, policies and procedures
·Provide HR consultative services to Department management and employees
·Establish and maintain positive employee relations; provide guidance and advice to managers and supervisors on employee coaching, counseling and discipline if necessary
·Investigate and appropriately resolve complex employee relations issues.
·Assure compliance with FCC and EEO regulations.
·Develop, implement and deliver training programs. Manage annual performance review, merit increase and performance bonus objectives processes
·Oversee planning of employee quarterly functions/ meetings and all other employee events.
·Assist with recruitment of applicants for available positions according to budget as necessary
·Implement Strategies to ensure employees are satisfied with their work environment.
·Punctual, regular, and consistent attendance.

Requirements:
·Bachelor´s degree in Human Resource Management preferred. The equivalent work experience and education may be substituted
·5 or more years´ relevant or equivalent HR experience as a generalist in a service related industry
·Proven ability to establish strong relationships.
·Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
·Must be a team player, able to handle ambiguity, anticipate and react to changes quickly (flexible with hours and duties; multiple work locations).

Position Overview: Vertex Business Services is seeking an HR Business
Partner to provide full-scope HR support for call centers in Kennesaw, GA
and Indianapolis, IN, supporting our contract with SouthStar Energy
Services. The HRBP is an integral part of the management team, providing HR
specialist knowledge and counsel and developing and implementing HR programs
to enable operations managers to meet their objectives.

Primary Responsibilities:

. Provide advice and guidance to managers on full range of HR topics
to include recruitment, performance management, compensation, benefits,
employee relations and HR change management.

. Provide counsel and partner with operations leadership to solve
complex employee relations issues.

. Plan and implement HR initiatives to improve efficiency and
effectiveness of operations.

. Develop and maintain effective relationships with clients and
members of the HR community in order to facilitate the implementation of
effective people policies and practices.

. Acts as a key point of contact on HR matters for clients / key
accounts within the specified business areas.

Minimum Qualifications:

. Bachelors Degree in Industrial or Labor relations, Human
Resources, Business Administration, or related discipline in which business
knowledge and an understanding of human resource practices are gained.

. 5 years HR increasing experience as HR Generalist or Business
Partner.

Desired Skills:

. PHR or SPHR certified.

. HR experience in a call center environment.

. Previous experience leading a team.

. Thorough understanding of how HR impacts

. Demonstrated experience developing constructive relationships with
key stakeholders, such as senior managers, clients and/or trade union
representatives/ officials.

. Sound knowledge of employment law and HR best practice, with an
ability to demonstrate hands on application.

. Demonstrated ability to make independent decisions in a remote
environment, evaluate people, manage conflicting priorities in a fast-paced
environment and effectively interface with high-level business and
operations leaders

. Outstanding communication, coaching, and interpersonal skills with
the ability to work effectively with people at all levels of the
organization

. Proven complex project management skills
