Description:
This person must have experience with multiple hardware and
software environments and be comfortable with complex heterogeneous systems
environments. This person must be a highly seasoned, senior technologist who
has led multiple successful projects through the Software Development Life
Cycle (SDLC), and has usually performed in a variety of different roles in that
life cycle.
This person will be responsible for the development of the overall vision that
underlies the projected solution and transforms that vision through execution
into the solution. This person becomes involved with a project at the time of
inception and is involved in the functional analysis of developing the initial
requirements – offering subject matter expertise to drive direction, while
presenting and balancing the technical capabilities. This person will
work very closely with key business stakeholders, business analysts, project
and program managers, delivery managers, technical leads, quality assurance
leads, and system engineers throughout the life of a project. This person
is a key driver for the project or release and provides a vital link between
the business and IT.
Required Skills
include:
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Strong ability to collaborate and lead Joint Requirements Planning (JRP) and
Joint Application Design (JAD) sessions with both technical
subject-matter-experts (SMEs) as well as business analysts and stakeholders
Strong knowledge and experience working in all phases of the Software Development
Lifecycle (SDLC)
Strong technical understanding and experience working with the following
technologies/frameworks: Java/J2EE, BEA WebLogic Server, BEA WebLogic
Portal Server, BEA Beehive, Oracle, EAI, UML, XML, DHTML, JavaScript,
AJAX, MVC, Struts, OOT
Strong knowledge and experience designing object-oriented solutions as part of
a Services-Oriented-Architecture (SOA) for high-availability systems
Strong understanding of creational, structural, behavioral and architectural
design patterns and how to apply them in the most practical manner into an
overall solution design
Qualifications include:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information
Systems or a related area; Master's Degree in Computer Science or
Business a plus Minimum of 8-10 years experience designing, developing and
implementing middle-tier and distributed systems with 3-5 years serving as a
lead architect
Ideally, this person will have experience working as a business/technology
consultant for clients across varied industries/domains
Preferred Skills include:
Familiarity with the Travel & Hospitality Industry including knowledge of
the timeshare exchange business and e-Commerce/e-Business applications in this

Understanding and experience with RUP (Rational Unified Process) Methodology

Development Manager for their North Jersey
office, in a Right-to-Hire capacity.
Responsibilities will
include:
Overseeing and directing the
creation of software related design documents and customer-oriented
technical documents.
Developing and overseeing
software development processes, design and code review processes and
checklists
Participating in software
architecture reviews, design reviews and code reviews
Developing software development

Working with Delivery Managers,
