Summary:

The ETF Business Analyst II performs business analysis, research, and

Position Responsibilities - Summary

This individual will be responsible for requirements, systems analysis,
testing, and project management supporting the Investment Operations (IO)
group within Investment Administration (IA). The IO group is responsible for
corporate action processing, trade operations, trade settlements, BPO
reconciliation, and operational services.

This position requires a high level of direct interaction with business
users as well as excellent communication and delivery. The candidate should
have domain knowledge from another asset manager or financial services firm
and have previously worked in or supported an investment operations business
group. This role will report to the Manager of the Investment Operations
Applications team.

Responsibilities:

* Interact with investment professionals to proactively identify
opportunities for new/improved systems

* Work with business partners to define, analyze and document
requirements

* Produce functional specifications for new systems and
enhancements

* Coordinate the work of systems analysts, software developers & QA
testers, database architects and data vendors to design and implement robust
technical solutions to achieve business outcomes.

* Coordinate project tasks across multiple IT groups

* Plan and perform functional testing of new systems and
enhancements

* Provide ongoing support including issue tracking and status
reporting

* Collaborate with business partners to prioritize
support/enhancement needs

* Key to this role is maintaining effective client relationships,
communication, organization/execution/follow-through, analytical capability,
taking ownership, working collaboratively, and challenging the status quo.

Required Skills and Competencies:

* A minimum of 10 years of work experience in a financial services
technology environment

* Experience in back / middle office processes for an asset manager
or financial services firm

* Strong client relationship, communication and analytical skills

* Change agent, creative, innovative and focused on continuous
improvements

* Demonstrated project management experience on medium to large
initiatives

* Demonstrated analytical experience on new systems build-outs as
well as on enhancements to existing systems

Keys to this Position:

1. This is a Lead level hands-on Systems Analyst. We are seeking strong
Systems Analyst skills (requirements gathering etc.).

2. Domain knowledge: This candidate should have strong knowledge of the
back, middle or front office of an Investment Management firm or a
Custodian. This role will be focused on Corporate Actions and Trade
Operations.

3. Leadership skills: This individual must have experience leading a team.
In this role the individual will lead a team of 10 to 15 consultants that
are both on/off shore.

4. Communication skills: This individual will interface with the business

discipline which supports the Legal and Compliance business group - bringing
experience and best practices to a fast-moving area of the company.

Required Skills and Competencies:

* 8 years or more experience in a systems role supporting business
professionals in an investment organization

* Demonstrated track record throughout the systems lifecycle, with
proven expertise in the analysis, delivery, and, support of major
applications

* Strong all-around project management and project methodology
skills

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills

* Highly self-motivated and able to work in a fast-paced,

workflow and experience in one of the following: Compliance, Trading or the

3) Technical: Must be able to query the database with SQL.

team of four consultants (on/offshore model).

5) Excellent communication skills are required.

6) Candidates may have worked for any Buy side, Sell side or Custodian
shops (i.e. Fidelity, Morgan Stanley, State Street, etc.). Also any shops
that use Compliance or LatentZero Sentinel (which is a Compliance tool).
Candidates with prior experience with any of the following shops that use
Sentinel: Putnam, GMO, SSGA, Pyramis, Dodge and Cox, GE, Income Research &
Management, JP Morgan, Morgan Stanley, BNP Paribas, UBS, Leith Wheeler,
DuPont.
