One of my clients is looking for a Paralegal at their Midtown litigation practice. The qualifications are rather straight forward.
* 3 + years experience within a litigation environment
* Ability to do light to medium lifting
* Undergraduate degree with Paralegal certification
This is a full time job earning between $33 and $43 per hour. The firm isinterviewing immediately, with the job starting within the next few weeks.
With the legal profession going through significant downsizing, who within your professional network can better service their Board of Directors through this career opportunity?

WNO Members,

Thank you for your support, advice, presentations, and networking training. It works. Get in as many support groups as you can.

This is how it happenned for me.
My wife looked at her alma mater's web site and found the position for Computer Operations Manager (mainframe and servers). I sent a cover letter and resume on May 22nd. Yeshiva University called me June 1st for a phone interview for June 5th. I contacted my friend who is the Dean of Medical Students at Einstein College of Medicine, part of the university, and she hand carried another resume to the IT department. They called me June 17th for an in person interview on June 22. I interviewed with the Director of HR and the hiring manager. I sent them thank you letters. I sent the hiring manager a white paper on a subject we discussed in our meeting. Then, nothing until July 10th telling me they were checking my references. They interviewed them by phone on July 20th and 21st. The offer came on July 22nd at 4:10 PM. It was a little more than I was making at my last position. I accepted and I start on August 17th. I only had one other interview since April 1st on the same day as the offer.

It can happen for you!
