 VOIP Testers


Must be a self-starter who can hit the ground running.  General responsibilities include Lab test support, Field test plan preparation, Field MOP/SMOP preparation, Resolving network/customer issues escalated by Network Operations.  General skills desired across all three positions include Intermediate to expert in Cisco networking, Hands-on experience with key VoIP network element platforms - Cisco Call Manager, Sonus Gateways and soft switches, ACME SIP proxy.

 

Position # 1 – Middletown, NJ

  • Advanced Business VOIP Service Testing and Tier Support Engineer responsible for lab testing support, field test plan preparation/execution, field MOP/SMOP preparation, and resolving network/customer issues escalated by Network Operations. Specialist in VOIP network interoperability needed. Expertise in SIP and H.323 required. Hands-on experience with key network element platforms/vendors – examples, IP PBX, Call Manager, Sonus, ACME, and Siemens – expected.

 

Position # 2 --- Middletown, NJ

  • Advanced Business VOIP Service Tester and Tier support responsible for lab testing support, field test plan preparation/execution, field MOP/SMOP preparation, and resolving network/customer issues escalated by Network Operations. Specialist in VOIP network interoperability needed. Expertise in SIP and SIP-B required. Hands-on experience with key network element platforms – examples, IP PBX, Call Manager, Sonus, ACME, and Siemens – expected. Hands on experience with voice processing systems (e.g., Ditech PVC Echo Canceller) desirable. Knowledge of IP Teleconferencing applications/implementations.

 

Position#3 – Warrenville, IL or Austin, TX

§        Advanced Business VOIP Platform Testing Engineer and Tier support responsible for test plan preparation, execution, and MR management including vendor follow-up for Juniper ISG2000 platform.  Develop method of procedures for field implementation and ongoing support.  Expert in Juniper ISG2000 and intermediate to expert in Cisco networking.

 

 

 

Customer Care Process Engineer (5 Positions)

  • Location: NJ or can work from a remote location/Virtual OfficeResponsible for Customer Care Process Engineering for Ethernet-based products.  Must have Level 2 and 3 process engineering experience for ordering and provisioning of Ethernet-based voice and data products.  Create user requirements.  Create M&Ps.

 

  • Requirements
    • Experience in Telco Customer Care process engineering (Required)
    • Experience with and knowledge of Telco Ethernet technology and infrastructure (Required)
    • Knowledge of data and voice services ordering and provisioning
    • Expert in MS Office including Visio
    • Excellent communications skills
    • Self-starter with ability to work in a fast-paced environment

 

DNS Development Engineer (2-4 positions)

  • Location: Middletown, NJ.  Configure a test lab that certifies both caching and resolving DNS.  Write a detailed test plan for BIND that certifies BIND releases for both IPv4 and IPv6.  Develop automated test suite for execute the BIND tests.  Design Load Balancer configurations for both IPv4 and IPv6.  Configure and certify Load Balancers for both IPv4 and IPv6.  Data analysis for benchmarking.  Anycast for IPv6 certification

 

  • Requirements
    • Knowledge of DNS and BIND (both records and protocol)
    • Knowledge of UDP and TCP/IP protocols
    • Knowledge of Anycast/Unicast routing
    • Knowledge of network routers
    • Knowledge of Solaris and RedHat OS
    • Knowledge of Foundry, F5 and Nortel Load Balancers
    • Knowledge of IPV6 for Foundry and F5 Load Balancers and Solaris/Redhat 
    • Familiarity with load generation tools like SPIRENT TestCenter
      Capacity planning and benchmarking experience
    • C, Java, and other standard programming languages knowledge a plus
