I've seen a lot coming across the internet regarding this subject and I
have some concerns about our organizations job descriptions.
Our last class/comp study was completed in 2005 with input from an
outside consultant.
My concern is that the physical requirements are pretty much the same
for all positions, with lifting (various lbs.), bending, squatting,
standing, walking, fingering, etc., etc. (Just about every physical
movement one can think of.) They have the appearance of having included
any and every possible physical movement as a requirement.
Are there any other non-profit, public organizations out there that can
share their thoughts regarding my concerns about these job descriptions?
Do you think these would meet current ADA requirements, or could they be
overdone?
Thanks so much for your thoughts and input!

Hello Maurene,
I don't know if you remember me. We met at St. Patricks in Yorktown Heights EARN meeting You can see my face at http://www.tonytoro.com I had missed the last couple of meetings. I wanted to say hello. I just watched your "Me 2.0: Your Online Persona" which you presented on my birthday which was the 21'st. Have you found work? I just started Monday with IBM. It was 7 months I had been without work. I hope you're doing well. Do I remember you as the person who was passed up for a position based on hair style? The two candidates were so equally matched the decision was a coin toss or in this matter a hair style toss?
