TCN/Temple Community Network Meeting
----------------------------------------------------------
TCN's August 24th meeting will proudly present Information Systems
leader Sunil Kumar, with a presentation entitled:
"LINKEDIN FOR JOB SEARCH - A SEEKER'S PERSPECTIVE"
LinkedIn is the most widely used Social Media tool by professionals
today. This free, online service has the highest concentration of
executives, companies, recruiters and industry experts as members,
which makes it a potential goldmine for today's job seekers. Yet, many
people in employment transition are not fully utilizing the benefits
offered by this platform, even though they might have been using
LinkedIn for quite a while. This short presentation provides a few
tips and tricks that can enhance the visibility of the job seeker and
thereby increase the chances of being found by potential employers.
