VOIP Support Engineer
Job Description
The VOIP Support Engineer position is based out of the company's office in Newark, New Jersey. The primary responsibility of this position is to provide pre sale engineering support and post sales operating support (Tier 2 support) to SIP Trunking and Aggregator customers. Candidates for this position should have experience deploying and supporting Cisco Unified Communications (voice) products, Avaya premise PBX(IP) as well as open source applications such as Asterisk.
Responsibilities:
- Experience in Cisco Unified Communication provisioning, installation, configuration and troubleshooting.
- Experience in troubleshooting Avaya products as well as Asterisk based solutions.

The Database Administrator will play and important role within our Production Operations Team. The incumbent will help design, install, manage and support our Oracle and other RDBMS infrastructures. Responsibilities include providing database administration support, cross-team collaboration, delivery of database projects per schedule and helping achieve operational excellence in our Production Operations Team.
Summary of Responsibilities and Duties
· Collaborate with application owners, members of the technology team, and interaction with our off-shore team for architecting, designing, implementing and managing the Oracle RDBMS environment
· Responsible for performance tuning, monitoring, security, capacity management, and automation of the Oracle environment
· Develop, test and implement the strategy for high availability, backup and recovery, and disaster recovery solutions
· Manage all databases in Development, QA, Production and Disaster recovery environments
· Manage Oracle RDBMS for installation, upgrade, and patch management per best practice and controlled project management lifecycles
· Implementing and configuring database monitoring scripts and tools
· Provide off hours support and maintenance as required, part of the 24x7 operations support on call rotations

Experience
· 5+ years experience as an enterprise-level Oracle DBA role using Oracle 10g, 11g on Linux

In charge of Windows 7 Jump Start deployment to 500 Desktops. . This contract position will be a 3 month engagement which may be extended or potentially. This candidate will be responsible Mining potential targets for deployment from the SCCM inventories based on a target matrix. Assessing targets identified by Client Services for hardware refresh based a target matrix. Working with the Domain application owners to ensure they have availability to the Windows 7 VDI platform for application remediation. The candidate will also be required to manage the and schedule in-place upgrades of devices for Windows 7. The candidate will manage the work efforts of two resources for in-place upgrades in New Jersey and New York.
This candidate will also be responsible for tracking deployment success, obstacles and issues for remediation during the course of the Windows 7 Jump Start.
The ideal candidate will also be responsible for maintaining the Windows 7 Jump Start Lab infrastructure, creating a check in check out process for lab machines needed during application rationalization and engineering efforts.
