Client is a well respected and fast growing specialty pharmaceutical company. They are looking for a Sr. Buyer located at our Parsippany, NJ Global Headquarters supporting the procurement of the Third Party API's and provide department support for excipient and alternate source activities.
 
This position will support the procurement of all Third Party API's for those non–turnkey suppliers. Participate in all TPM Supply Chain meetings with the TPM manufacturers and in house TPM managers. This individual will take part in negotiations, information gathering and dissemination, as well as taking part in developing an excipient strategy on how to address multiple distributors.

Responsibilities:
§  Serve as a key contact with all suppliers for assigned items.
§  Interface with the Accounting Department regarding price variations.
§  Responsible for ensuring updated cost standards are entered into MRP II system.
§  Participation in formal sales and operations planning process on a monthly basis.
§  Tracks vendor delivery performance and reports problems to management; maintains purchasing history fields.
§  Issues Purchase Orders to support analytical work for alternate sourcing projects.
§  Maintains appropriate inventory levels, purchases appropriate order quantities; and maintains accurate records on materials, components, work orders and purchase orders.
§  Generates purchase requisitions for material needed to ensure schedules are met; interfaces with suppliers under span of control; maintains established safety stock levels; and follows up on purchase orders to ensure delivery timelines are met.
 
Qualified candidates will have the knowledge of the U.S. pharmaceutical industry and the ability to comprehend the differences and requirements of regulatory agencies from other markets that we work with.
§  Skilled in implementing goals, objectives and practices for effective, efficient and cost effective management of allocated resources.
§  Analyzing problems, identifying alternative solutions, recommending and implementing solutions.
§  Establishing and maintaining collaborative, working relationships with those contacted in the course of work.
§  Responding to common inquiries and problems from internal customers and department personnel.
§  Effectively researching vendor supply sources.

spectacular technical support and customer service to all MSP customers.
This role manages a team of Level II Systems Engineers dedicated to
providing telephone based, first-level contact and problem resolution in
support of desktops, servers, and network issues. This includes but is

*Position Responsibilities*

- Ensure individual and team adherence to policy & procedure regarding
ConnectWise ticket management & time entry.
- Effectively manage the Helpdesk team to provide telephone IT support
for MSP customers including applications, desktops, servers, and basic
network issues. This includes break/fix, root cause analysis, and
escalating the need for the implementation of preventative measures to the
assigned Account Project Manager (APM).
- Ensure all customer requests for support are responded to promptly and
follow policy & procedure in the use of the ACD phone system and
Connectwise ticketing. Customer support requests may be made by phone,
email or customer portal.
- Ensure that call handling time per engineer does not exceed 15 minutes
without effective escalation & internal collaboration with PS L2, PS L3,
APM or other resources.
- Promptly notify the assigned Account Project Manager of any critical
technical or customer service issues.
- Monitor & report weekly on ACD and ConnectWise ticket metrics.
- Ensure team SLA attainment of 90% or greater.
- Ensure individual engineer ACD utilization rate of 85% or greater.
- Ensure ACD SLA abandon rate of less than 10%.
- Ensure team compliance with SLA guidelines, general ticketing & ticket
note standards.
- Ensure Connectwise tickets are appropriately closed or escalated
within SLA.
- Ensure individual and team communications are prompt, clear, concise &
