Shortly after joining the team, Nick began assisting the store's Business Sales Specialist as a Business Captain. After the Business Sales Specialist was promoted to the new flagship store in NYC in June 2015, Nick began to fulfilling the Microsoft BSS role along with Alfred Silva.

Nick has hosted workshops to train teachers and school board members at local school districts in Microsoft products/services, ran offsite events for small businesses that incorporate Microsoft cloud computing and Office software, and helped host an Xbox gaming event.

Position Summary:

My client's Data Services Engineering team is seeking a Senior Software
Engineer to join the team to build and support ETL and Reporting platforms.
The Data Services team supports centralized applications across Enterprise
Reporting and Data Security. The developer will work with team members on
designing and developing enhancements and new capabilities using Talend and
Tableau. Other projects include leading data security initiatives and
supporting new Enterprise Reporting platform.

Responsibilities:

* Support of custom Data Services Reporting platform

* Researching reported problems

* Generating story level enhancements using technical tools and
process methods.

* Talend ETL Development

* Tableau Reports Development

* Data Model Enhancements to support new functionality.

* Operational readiness and rollout of new versions of applications

* Test new technology and vendor interfaces into applications

* Some project management responsibilities

* Contribute to the development of internal and external
documentation

Required Skills and Competencies:

* 1-2 years of ETL experience like Talend.

* 2+ years of self-service BI like Tableau.

* Knowledge of Data Modeling and data dictionary and system views ;
DBA experience is a plus

* Strong SQL skills

* 3 - 5 years Programming experience and familiarity with agile
development tools and methods preferred

* Java and Web Services experience is a plus.

* Experience with reporting platforms like Jasper would be a plus

* BS degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or
equivalent experience

Keys to this Position:

1) Technical Requirements: ETL, Data Modeling, Reporting and SQL
experience is required.

2) Ideally the candidate will have experience with Talend (ETL tool).
Other acceptable ETL tools would be Data Stage or Informatica.

3) Ideally the candidate will have experience with Tableau (self-service
BI tool). We will train the candidate to learn Tableau. Other acceptable
BI tools include OBIEE and Spotfire (although these are not required).

4) Java, Web Services and AWS (Amazon Web Services) are a nice to have.

5) We will consider a core level candidate (5 to 7 years) or a senior
level candidate (10 plus years).

Overview
Our client is seeking a Sr. Network Administrator who will responsible for
the day to day operation and management of the enterprise networks and
servers including design, upgrades, monitoring, network security and
stability (monitoring, patching, testing), disaster recovery procedures,
daily maintenance and problem resolution.

This fulltime employee position is located in Milford, CT

Skills and Qualifications
. Bachelor's degree or Technical Certification Equivalent desired.
. 5+ years' hand's on experience implementing Windows 2008R2 and
Server 2012 systems, network devices along with proven record of
documentation and supervision/management.
. In-depth understanding of networking, server and system functions.
. Network Certification beyond Network+
. Experience with VMware cloud and VMware management, network design,
and network software and hardware maintenance.
. Hands on experience with Microsoft Lync, Exchange and Linux
Administration.
. Excellent communication, team player and customer service skills.
. Must be able to understand project requirements with minimal
supervision, prepare designs and specify hardware and systems required for
implementations.
. Must have experience monitoring systems and providing utilization
statistics and capacity planning.
. Must have the ability to create scripts to perform network and
server management tasks.

Contract Duration: 6+ months.

*Job description for UC Lead engineer profile.*

- Design & Engineering experience on Microsoft Lync 2010/2013, Skype for
Business, Actiance Vantage.
- Experience of Regulatory Data Capturing laws and systems implications,
e.g. FCA, Dodd Frank.
- Enterprise experience working in a Messaging/UC Engineering Team,
preferable within the banking sector.
- Excellent Communication and Documentation skills.

*Overview:*

The Unified Communications Platforms team is responsible for the
architecture, design, engineering, testing and 3rd line support of all
Unified Communications 'channels' [instant messaging, group chat, voice,
video, webconferencing] and associated compliance capture, retention and
retrieval platforms.

Key products within the platform include, but are not limited to the
following: Microsoft OCS 2007, Lync 2010, Lync 2013 and Skype for
Business. Actiance Vantage is used for OCS/Lync Capture and Data Retention.

*Key responsibilities:*

- Lead the engineering design, development and test process for the
chosen product set. Key Product Sets: Microsoft Lync 2010, Lync 2013, Skype
for Business, Actiance Vantage, amongst other technologies.
- Working closely with other channel/technical specialists and
architects from within the End User Technologies group.
- Working closely with product architects, business application owners,
operations, security and compliance specialists.
- Engaging with the deployment and production management specialists
responsible for the delivery of 'UC' services.
- Delivery of a secure, compliant and stable enterprise UC platform.

*You will have:*

- Minimum of 5 years Lead engineer / developer level experience.
- Design experience covering Micrsoft Lync and Actiance Vantage.
- Applications development experience utilizing Java or C Sharp, Java
Script and Web based development preferred.
- Experience with design of Communication Enabled Business Processes.
- Experience with Web services.
- Experience in the use of SDKs of Microsoft, Avaya and Cisco UC
products preferred.
- Knowledge in SIP and XMPP protocols and related libraries.
- Understanding of PBX, ACD, CTI, IVR and VoIP technologies.
- Solid understanding of the end-to-end IT process, including
architecture, design, implementation and operations.
- Exposure to MindAlign preferred.
- Experience of Regulatory Data Capturing laws and systems implications,
e.g. FCA, Dodd Frank.
- Enterprise experience working in a Messaging/UC Engineering Team,
preferable within the banking sector.
- Excellent Communication and Documentation skills.
