Our client located in Roseland NJ is in need of a Full-Time Sr. Converged
Security Analyst. The Analyst is responsible for working on a CIRT team
responding to security threats, doing penetration testing to
identify security threats and vulnerabilities. Perform tasks related to the
further development of our clients converged SIEM monitoring platform which
includes writing reports and correlation rules. The Analyst will primarily
be responsible for analyzing advanced security related information from a
variety of sources to create actionable intelligence from this disparate
date within the SIEM platform. The candidate must have strong skills in
conducting technical analysis of security threats, as well as the ability to
document and train individual members of the CIRT staff on new
processes/procedures for other junior analysts to respond to in the
(enVision) SIEM platform.******

*ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITES:*

• Define, build, test and implement correlation rules that
support the monitoring and enforcement of security policies.****

• Assist in the development and maintenance of new procedural
documentation including newly developed correlation rules. This also
includes the training of appropriate security analysts.****

• Conduct technical analysis and assessments of security
related incidents, including malware analysis, packet level analysis, and
system level forensic analysis.****

• Coordination of incident response activities (escalations,
notifications, conference calls, etc.).****

• Monitoring, managing, and coordinating the information
collection and cataloging of activities from a variety of public and private
security related information sources, as well as documenting the initial
analysis of vulnerability reports and how they may relate to our clients.***

OVERALL SUMMARY
Reporting to the Vice President Business Initiatives & Services, this position
oversees strategic technology vendor management and collaborative technology
sourcing. The individual must be able to diplomatically influence stakeholders

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
• With guidance from Leadership, manage technology vendor strategy.
• Review strategic vendor solicitations and provide detailed business

• Participates in the design and architecture of all aspects of the firm's data electronic communications environment, with emphasis on Microsoft Exchange 2007/2010 and complementary technologies, such as disclaimer programs and email archiving systems.
• Monitors the firm's systems proactively using enterprise tools and expert analysis. Researches and recommends new technologies to ensure stability and uptime.
• Windows 2003/2008 administration, including DNS, WINS, DHCP, DFS, Active Directory, user account/group management, file and directory permissions; service pack application, monitoring servers/services for failures and resource consumption
• VMWare and Enterprise level storage - Administration, configuration, management and monitoring.
• Highly available environment experience. Ex.: Exchange 2007 CCR clusters, Exchange 2010 DAGs, VMWare HA/DRS, BES clustering, etc.
• Maintains up-to-date documentation of all procedures and resolutions.
• Participates in DR planning.

Requirements:
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• 8-10 years experience in a Windows enterprise server environment.
• Expert level experience with Microsoft Exchange 2007/2010 and Active Directory 2008.
• Intimate knowledge of Exchange add-ons and third party product integration.
• Strong Citrix XenApp skills are a huge plus.
• VB Scripting/batch command knowledge is a plus.
• Experience working VMWare ESX 4.x hosts and virtual environments.
• Experience working VMWare Site Recovery Manager (SRM) is a plus.
• Experience with storage solutions (EMC experience is a plus).
• Experience working in a high availability, global environment with 600+ servers across 12 locations.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.

• Strong customer service skills.
• Strong team skills.
