Enterprise Infrastructure ARCHITECT FOR A CENTRAL NJ , union County Location. Client's end product is  data and content management of huge dbs, Oracle E Business Suite, the individual will need to multi- task and self manage priorities and timelines have worked in large scale global DC environment be able to work with business owners and work through frameworks that are consistent with ITIL and best practices and will be reusable throughout the organization, not standalone for each BU. Practical, smart, great communicator. FTE permanent role Salaried position with excellent top tier benefits package
 
 
 
the position requirements: 
 
 
1)     Infrastructure Architect with Masters degree in related field and equivalent experience in related field. (10-15 years work experience, 5 years experience as an architect preferred. Infrastructure Engineer with relevant experience will also be considered)
 
2)     Experience with end to end infrastructure architecture and technologies (e.g.
a.     Hardware engineering, and network standards, creation of infrastructure stack templates
b.    Storage technology
c.     Virtualization and Cloud Computing
d.    Application Servers, MQ, ESB and middleware integration
 
3)     Experience with UNIX, LINUX, and Windows server operating systems and virtualization.
4)     Advanced knowledge and experience with Enterprise Service Bus and Cloud technology.
5)     Thought leadership and Multiple projects designing solutions within digital media publishing industry,
6)     Search technologies, data content systems, Marklogic, fast, Database and data warehouse systems
7)     Exposure to Data Center Optimization, Data Center Management Processes, Virtualization, Private and Public Cloud
8)   Knowledge and experience with business process management [BPM] and service-oriented architecture [SOA] technologies
9)  Package Implementation: Oracle eBusiness
10)  TOGAF Certification
11)  Industry Middleware and ITIL V3 Foundation

Demonstrated ability to define and execute on a Business Intelligence (BI) shared services vision for the enterprise and ability to architect as a shared service
Proven competency to select and build an organizational model and talent management framework to deliver the BI vision
Confirmed experience and business acumen to partner with business stakeholders to understand business unit information and reporting needs, design and deliver reusable services and capabilities across the enterprise
Demonstrated technology and thought leadership to ensure the BI architecture maximizes enterprise BI needs and expectations and leverages resources and technologies available (preferably Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition â€" OBIEE or similar robust data warehouse framework)
Proven people leadership and management ability to grow and nurture the necessary talent, leadership and skills as well as partner with peers to foster cross team collaboration and execution

2-4 Managers who manage technical staff 
 
Roles and Responsibilities:

 Reporting to the VP, Corporate Business, responsible for the definition and delivery of the Business Intelligence architectural vision and roadmap to provide information and reporting services for the enterprise. In partnering with key business stakeholders, understand business unit (BU) specific needs and deliver a compelling shared services strategy and architecture that provides reusable, common and integrated dashboard, reporting and information services across the BUs. Through a shared services model, reduce overall costs and optimize services through cost effective designs and information architecture frameworks.
Lead a team to deliver on enterprise information service’s needs and expectations such as performance, service levels, and capacity management. Architect and design an enterprise information data architecture which can be leveraged by all BUs.

They do not need Cassandra or Hadoop architecture experience but should understand the problems that working on a Oracle RAC environment can cause and be open to using open sources solutions,
 
Responsibilities of the Oracle Database Administrator:
·                 Experienced DBA to help develop and support development, QA and production instances.
·                 This experienced team player is needed to evaluate, design, implement and maintain company databases.
·                 Ownership of operational stability for existing database instances.

Requirements of the Oracle Database Administrator:
·                 Minimum 4+ years of experience with a BS/MS in Computer Science or related technical discipline preferred.
·                 Strong knowledge of PL/SQL required (knowledge of other flavors of SQL a plus).
·                 Effective communication and strong collaboration skills are requirements for the position.
·                 Proficient in all aspects of Database administration: instance management and resource optimization; storage allocation and management; backup and recovery; replication and clustering.
·                 Expert level knowledge and experience with Linux environments.
·                 Experience with multiple database platforms (Cassandra, MongoDB, Oracle, PostgreSql, etc) and distributed database paradigms that include Cassandra and Hadoop architecture is preferred.
·                 Proven track-record of successful database design preferred.
·                 Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills, as well as a passion for learning and using new technologies is preferred.
·                 Python/Ruby skills is a plus.
