Pharm-Olam International, a multi-national Contract Research Organization, is seeking a Data Manager for its US operations. This is a full-time position, based in our Plainsboro, NJ, or Houston, TX offices.
Primary Goal
Responsible for supporting the completion of multiple Data Management projects according to sponsor and contract requirements in accordance with applicable standard operating procedures.
Key Tasks
Support preparation of Data Management process control documents, including but not limited to Case Report Forms, Data Management Plan, Data Review Plan, Data Quality Checks Specification, Data Transfer Agreements/Specifications.
Support database testing, identify errors, report them to Data Systems Designer and follow through to resolution utilizing process control documents.
Process data, including data entry, ensuring consistency, accuracy and completeness of the database according to the Data Quality Checks Specification.
Generate pre-defined listings and conduct reviews of the data listings. Support data review including reconciliation of external data.
Work with the DPMs to ensure the project team and the sponsors are kept informed of all issues and timelines together with database quality and performance.
Qualifications
Minimum of a Bachelors degree in a related field
Minimum of 1-4 plus years experience working with clinical trial data
Knowledge of data management process and databases
Good oral and written communication skills
Advanced computer skills, particularly with MS Word, Excel and the Internet
Good problem solving, analytical, organizational and time management skills
Knowledge of clinical data flow and research design
Ability to adhere to GCP/regional regulatory guidelines and company SOP's
Good business acumen with customer focus in interacting with peers, sits and clients
