Job Description A major Bank Holding Company located in New York City is looking for a Database Developer POINT.
Main Function
Member on POINT database team, developing, implementing and supporting the system for loading and maintaining Data for POINT application.
Main Duties
Support and enhance the existing POINT database functionality. Help in evaluating different paths of migrating POINT off Sybase. Convert and modify application code. Extract, transform and load data from existing database into newly developed database.
Skills Required Person Requirements:
Location: New York Full Time Work Schedule: Regular business hours, on-call with weekly rotation
Basic Qualifications:
5+ years experience in database development Very strong SQL skills, including Transact SQL and PL SQL. Understanding of performance tuning and database administration. Knowledge of Perl and shell scripting Basic familiarity with Java.
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of Fixed Income and Equity products Familiarity with Autosys
Salary Range This is a temporary assignment which will pay up to $750 Corp to Corp and up to 650 W-2 based on experience.
