On Tuesday evening, September 24th, MIS Network Associates (MNA), IT-Networking, the ETP Network, TENG, The Breakfast Club of NJ, Monmouth Networking, and Careers In Transition (CIT) will host a combined Recruiter Night Out dinner meeting for members, alumni, friends, and guests at The Holiday Inn in Totowa, NJ.  The Recruiter Night Out will include a dialogue with a panel of four recruiters from the venues listed below responding to pre-published questions and ad hoc inquiries from the dinner meeting attendees:

The panel will be moderated by Mike Palestina – Black River Group.
Mike is a Certified Executive Coach, Leadership Consultant and Facilitator who partners with senior executives, managers and leaders to inspire and enhance individual's attitudes, behaviors and performance resulting in increased employee engagement and retention. These shifts ultimately contribute to successfully reaching desired goals and exceeding individual and organizational expectations.
Mike combines more than 28 years of practical Fortune 500 business leadership experience (in a variety of functional areas including Marketing and Business Development, Client Implementation and Services, Project Management and Operations) with more than 350 hours of accredited coaching, emotional awareness and non-verbal communications training and 10+ years of actual coaching experience at senior levels. These diverse experiences provide Mike with a real-world appreciation of the challenges senior leaders face throughout their careers and within their organizations.
Mike is passionate about helping others modify attitudes and behaviors. These questions are subject to editing until Friday, September 20th, when the final list will be published electronically to the previous recipients.  Please return your comments on the questions to John Sampson at jcsspike@yahoo.com ASAP.  The final questions will be available in hard copy at the registration desk the evening of the dinner meeting on September 24th.  Again, ad hoc questions will be accepted by the Moderator during the discussion with the panelists and Mike Palestina may have a few questions for the panelists himself.
 
The schedule for the dinner meeting on September 24th will be:
 
-          6:00 to 6:45 pm – Registration, "speed dating", and cash bar
-          6:45 to 7:15 pm - Introductions
-          7:15 pm - Dinner
-          8:00 pm - Panel discussion moderated by Mike Palestina
-          9:30 Approx – Raffle – You Must Be There To Win
 
The informal networking groups are so helpful in networking that we will do the "speed dating" again on the 24th before we sit down for dinner and the general introductions.  Briefly, these informal "dates" consist of up to 4 people and last for 5 to 10 minutes.  At the end of the 10 minutes, the groups break up and new ones are formed with different participants. Suggested dialogues for your "speed dating" encounters will be provided at the registration desk in case you are at a loss for what to say during these conversations.
 
There will be an opportunity to circulate up to 50 copies of your resume, personal bio, leads, or other appropriate material in a handout for each participant from the dinner.
 
The cost will be $45 for everyone if forwarded by mail or other to John Sampson by COB Monday, September 23rd at 2 Blackfoot Cir, Wayne NJ 07470.  Checks should be made out to John Sampson who can be reached by phone at 973-248-3251 or via email at jcsspike@yahoo.com.  Reservations can also be made by contacting Lizanne Fiorentino at lizanne@ignitetheflame.com  but checks must be sent directly to John. 
 
An initial list of attendees will be emailed to all the RSVPs, members of MNA, the ETP Network, TENG, The Breakfast Club of NJ, Monmouth Ntwkg, IT-Net, CIT and other interested parties the weekend of September 21/22 for initial review and correction.  The RSVP list will facilitate networking at the September 24th event and can be used to communicate with attendees in advance or after the dinner meeting. For those attendees who are working, current work affiliation, email address, three previous companies you've worked for/consulted at, professional job interest or position availability must be included in your RSVP.
 
For those attendees who are in transition, three target companies should be included in your RSVP as well as the type of position you seek.
 
A "final" numbered RSVP list of attendees will be available along with the pre-published questions and an ID badge at the registration desk on the 24th.  Your number on the final RSVP list should be part of your introduction:  "I'm number x on the RSVP list …". All attendees should have their sharp, crisp, 30 second elevator speech at the ready.  Too many "ahs, dees and doeses" will be cut off unceremoniously. Remember, you and your introduction will be between the rest of the attendees and dinner!
 
A final RSVP list of the actual attendees will be emailed to everyone who participated by
Sept 30th. 
 
We will accept a LIMITED number of walk-ins on the 24th.  Anyone who attends on the 24th and whose check has not been received by COB on the 23rd will be charged $60 WITHOUT  EXCEPTION. There will be NO refunds and no shows WILL be billed.
 
Again, bring 50 copies of your bio/resume, leads, or materials you wish to be included in the handout the evening of September 24th.

e-Commerce Systems - Sr.
Manager International– Bergen County, NJ.   Salary to $150k
We are working with a well-known luxury brand client, who is
looking for someone to head up an International launch.  They are deep in an eComm project and set for
a soft launch in Feb and will go live in the US in July. Soon after,  they are looking to launch internationally,
beginning with Europe and Japan.   Must have experience with ATG e-Commerce
platform.
The keys to the
role are:  someone who has  1. Previously worked on International
projects,   2. Understands how to conduct
business globally,   3. Experience with
partners for credit card authorization,   4. eCommerce
implementation experience to include managing projects, vendors, and
resources. Experience with building systems is a plus as is integration with
the fulfillment process.

Major Responsibilities include
Manage the full life-cycle of a project in support of
International e-Commerce solution which includes coordination with 3rd party
vendors, and hands on troubleshooting and configuration on ATG e-Commerce platform.
* Responsible for driving a cross functional team during discover and design phase of the project as well as technical requirements until completion of the project.  Coordinating alongside Project Management Office team for maintaining and managing business community expectations.
* Working closely with PMO team for creating detailed Project plans for all tasks, scope, schedule for project delivery.  Working closely with PMO team for administering project tasks, technical deliverables and documentation.
* Responsible for development activities with technical execution team and providing quality across all phases of projects.  Coordinating creative and usability design for all International projects related to site enhancements
* Should have good presentation skills to present project progress, status, risks to senior leadership team
* Management of on-going and new developments in relation to the company's International website.
* Manage communication channel with the IT technology team and Business leads on on-going issues, resolutions, upgrades, enhancements, etc.
* Provide operational and technical support for administration of our International e-Commerce website
* Provides and manages appropriate documentation concerning project deliverables, system support and business process are created and maintained
Education and/or Experience:
* Candidate should have a minimum of 8 -10 years of experience as mid-level Manager within e-Commerce business practice area and multichannel space.
* Candidate should have at least 3 to 5 years of experience with ATG Commerce platform within Retail business domain.
* Candidate should have worked on or implemented an e-commerce website within ATG Commerce platform at an International level.
* Candidate must have proven management experience in successfully executing and managing development and delivery of e-Commerce projects end to end

Seeking a Senior Business Analyst to guide a software project to successful delivery within its Compound Management organization

Required Skills:
1. At least 8 years of prior experience working in an analyst capacity on large and/or complex projects.
2. Experience in Biopharmaceutical Research & Development industry a plus; in particular a working knowledge of early stage research and discovery a plus. Experience in an allied industry with materials, supplies, or logistics alternatively attractive.
3. Experience in an analyst capacity on a large scale COTS project, a custom development project, and/or combination of both (impacting 100+ Users across multiple domains).
4. Experience with gathering requirements for a large, user-facing, ordering and logistics application a strong plus
5. Experience with formal SDLC practices, emphasis on Analysis & Design stages
6. Proven ability in gathering, tracing, translating and managing complex requirements, business rules, and data.
7. Proficient in GUI mockups & prototyping; contextual inquiry and human-computer interface experience a strong plus.
8. Strong business workflow/business rules capture skills.
9. Experience with process modeling tools (ARIS, Visio, etc.) to identify, capture, define, and analyze business processes
10. Excellent oral and written communication skills including technical writing / documentation; organizes and presents ideas in a convincing and compelling manner
11. Exceptional interpersonal skills; able to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical teams; able to provide analytical leadership
12. Outgoing personality; self-starter able to work interactively and independently with stakeholders
13. Possess strong business acumen; possess a broad, enterprise-wide view and understanding of strategy, processes and capabilities, enabling technologies, and governance
14. Bachelors or Masters Degree in computer science, engineering, physical sciences, life sciences, or logistics
15. Strong proficiency in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
16. Lean Thinking / Six Sigma educated a plus
17. CBAB/CCBA Certification a plus

Project Responsibilities - Business Analysis
Work with Informatics team and scientific groups to plan Business Analysis activities and refine project plan
Coordinate stakeholder assessments and management of stakeholders/sponsors
Collaborate with Informatics teams, subject matter experts, and stakeholder scientific groups to understand, gather, and validate formal business & solution requirements
Generate cohesive documentation of:
Business processes / process maps (As Is & To Be)
Requirements documents (BRDs) & Use cases / Scenarios
GUI proposals and mockups / UI & usability designs
Functional and Technical specifications
Identify instances where existing processes may be streamlined or improved
Manage and maintain all requirements materials and traceability matrices
Articulate and communicate requirements to development teams
Assist with communication to business & stakeholder management activities
Assist informatics team and project sponsor in executing a communication and change management strategy in support of project execution and rollout

Job Description:
Strong skills in building and maintaining successful networks and relationships with key leaders across a single functional area to ensure IT projects are supported and successfully delivered.
Organizes and presents ideas in a convincing and compelling manner.
Persuades and influences others with effective verbal and written communication.
Understands the value of process-centric approach to business analysis and capability development.
Command of project management techniques and tools.
Develops or modifies moderately complex information systems documentation and conveys this information to technical team for translation into programming languages or implements into COTS technologies.
Identifies process, technology and organizational role changes necessary to support business goals and objectives.
Experience in leading business process re-engineering efforts for at least one medium-to-large software project.
Min 3 years understanding the business need, defining a creative and useful software solution, and promoting the product to the user community and management.
Understanding of business strategy development techniques.
