Program Manager- Rahway, NJ

Candidates should have a background as a project manager; PMP certified;
has been elevated to the role of Program Manager with more responsibilities
for overseeing multiple projects and presenting summary status to different
levels of management.

The Program Manager will work with Client's Account Manager who is the
interface to the business owners. Ability to succinctly summarize Program
status to business owners is essential. Being proactive to overcome
obstacles, working with and around the standard organizational structure to
resolve issues, good interpersonal, persuasive personality.

Client will be using Microsoft Project and Portfolio Servers to track the
projects and Programs. Client projects involve Lean Sigma concepts for
examining process efficiencies. The Roles & Responsibilities on projects
are defined by Client 's IT Operating Model (ITOM). Client is
implementing process, policy and templates from the ITIL best practice model
- this is called Client's IT Performance Excellence (ITPX).
Life Science experience should include R&D areas such as: Basic Research,
PreClinical, Clinical, Regulatory Affairs, Submissions and Clinical Research
Organizations.

Required Skills:

. Strong PM skills PMP certification

. 5+ years of Program Management experience

. Excellent communication at multiple levels of management

. Strong leadership skills - Proactive, independent

. Heavy experience w/ planning, tracking, scope control, budget,
risk management, & status reporting, issue management and escalations

. Experience with ROI, business case realization

. Ability to produce and deliver succinct presentations

Extra Skills:

. Clinical Trial Management experience is mandatory

. High level drug development experience

. Experience with Adaptive Trials is a huge plus

. SAS/Statistical background with Clinical Trials a plus

. Experience with Randomization

. IVR is a plus

Desired Skills:

. PGMP certification

. Life Science experience - see below

. Agile development environments

. Lean Sigma exposure, ITIL exposure

. Microsoft Project and Portfolio Server
