Senior PHP Developer - (US-NJ-Jersey City) Compensation: $100K - $110K / Year Minimum Education: Bachelors Job Type: Full Time Jobcode: ACMAKJA1 A minimum of 7+ years of Information Technology experience. At least 4+ years as a Linux, Apache, mySQL, PHP (*LAMP*) Developer. Experience working with *LAMP* in a transactional enterprise environment. *Continuity marketing experience a HUGE plus.* * Good working knowledge of load balancing technologies * Strong knowledge of browsers * Excellent oral & written communication skills *What you'll be doing:* Application development of ecommerce platform & company systems. * PHP Web Development and maintenance. * Expert hands-on working experience in LAMP environment * Strong database development experience, writing complex queries, optimization * Linux scheduling * Various projects as assigned. *What you need for this position:* Language Requirements: * PHP 5, OOP, Design Patterns, CURL, Smarty * JavaScript, jQuery 1.2/1.3, jQuery UI, JSON, AJAX, HTML, CSS, XML/XSLT, cross-browser development * Advanced Linux user, Apache 1.3/2, SVN * MySQL 5 Ideal candidate would have:_ * 5 years+ experience developing in PHP * Application architecture experience in the LAMP Stack (libraries, classes, etc.) * Ecommerce or direct marketing transactional system experience a strong plus. * Knowledge of Apache, TCP/IP a plus * Strong attention to detail and follow through. * Ability to multi-task, prioritize, take on responsibility and work well under strict deadlines. * Must be able to work independently, and have the tenacity to research and overcome problems. *Attributes* Personable, determined, meticulous, cooperative, flexible and punctual. *Schedule ** *Ability to be available as needed for on-call 7X24 shift rotations, overtime and off hours support. *Education:* Technical degree or equivalent work experience.
