This Technology Project Manager will support the Environment, Data, Release and Security Domain Leader of a large Technology Program within Prudential Retirement. This individual will be responsible for managing all project and program deliverables within the Accountability of the Environment, Data, Release and Security Domain of the program. This includes ensuring that all the deliverables and outcomes are implemented on time, on budget, and within scope, to meet the expectations of the Domain Leader as well as other Program and Project Stakeholders.

Environment
· Coordinate QA/UA/Training testing requirements alignment with each other and the delivery team
· Act as a single point of contact with GBTS, our Corporate Technology Partners
· Coordinate the troubleshooting of issues within the environments
· Manage a Program-wide view of environmental needs and integration with unrelated portfolio projects
· Establish warranty timeframes & coordinate with team
· Program level status reporting

Data Management
· Coordinate QA/UA/Training non-production data needs
o Coordinate scrambled test data loads with the Operate team
o Coordinate downstream job execution to push scrambled data into peripheral systems
· Coordinate UA "mock conversion" data needs
o Coordinate unscrambled test data loads with the Operate team
· Establish Data Request process & plan with UA/QA/Training
· Program level status reporting

Data Management
· Coordinate QA/UA/Training non-production data needs
o Coordinate scrambled test data loads with the Operate team
o Coordinate downstream job execution to push scrambled data into peripheral systems with Operate and/or Pramerica
· Coordinate UA "mock conversion" data needs
o Coordinate unscrambled test data loads with the Operate team
· Establish Data Request process & plan with UA/QA/Training
· Program level status reporting

Project management of End to End Test Environment Build out
· Coordinate requirements with the vendor building out the test environment infrastucture
· Coordinate/track project timeline and status updates with vendor
· Track vendor chargebacks against project allocation
· Develop & manage overall project plan that encompasses the Retirement tasks in addition to the vendor deliverables.
o Manage alignment of Operate resources for SME tasks and initial environment checkout
o Manage alignment of Operate resources to create scrambled data at source systems to populate environment
o Manage alignment QA resources for environment checkout
o Coordinate support escalation process with vendors
· Coordinate/track support issues once vendor assumes support responsibility
· Program level status reporting
Experience:
· 3 - 5 years of formal IT project management experience
· Proven experience with all aspects of the Systems Development Life Cycle
· Demonstrates high level understanding in multiple (including new) technology environments.
· Demonstrates understanding of Distributed and Mainframe environments and technologies
· Past experience within specific domains (Environment, Data, Release and Security) a plus

Job Description:
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
-Oversees the planning and implementation of multiple IT projects

-The PM will ensure that the project has a well defined scope understood by all constituents.

-Identifies and negotiates schedules, milestones and resources required to meet project objectives and success criteria.

-Serve as coordinator for all project team activities.

-Leads projects in accordance with the IT organization?s preferred methodologies

-Identifies and implements PM improvement processes across IT

-Manages project budget, financials, and forecasts

-Track project issues and ensure they are documented, assigned, tracked, and resolved

-Track project risk and ensure mitigation strategies are identified and employed

-Track project dependencies to ensure they are known and on schedule

-Ensure any problems that arise in the project are identified and managed to resolution

-Coordinates and ensure that all testing phases are executed successfully.

-Ensures that al project artifacts are created, updated and stored

-The PM will become a subject matter expert in areas of Pharmacy Benefits
Management

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

-Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Systems or related discipline.

-5+ years experience as a project team leader including managing multiple concurrent projects, along with their associated issues, risks, dependencies, etc.

-Knowledge of the Pharmacy Benefits Management industry and claims adjudication systems and processes is highly desirable

-Excellent problem solving skills

-Experience as a business analyst is a plus

-Solid knowledge of tools, processes, methodologies for all phases of the SDLC
-Experience with one or more development methodologies required (Agile, Scrum, RUP, etc.)

-Proven ability to analyze complex business problems and develop technical solutions that meet the business needs.

-Must have excellent analytical skills with proven ability to comprehend business requirements

-Excellent oral and written communication skills

-Strong interpersonal and problem solving skills

-Experience managing off-shore resources is a plus

-Experience with Planview is a plus

-Project Management Certification (e.g., PMP) is a plus
