Position Summary:

The Client Applications IS group (ICA) is responsible for supporting and
providing technology solutions to our core front-office business functions,
namely our investment teams and our client facing teams. Within the ICA
group, the Client Applications IS team (75+ staff and consultants in the US,
UK, and Asia) provides and supports technology-based business solutions for
600+ global users in the Client Reporting, Relationship Management, Business
Development, Marketing, and Product Management teams.

The Client Applications team is seeking multiple Lead Systems Analysts to
define and deliver technology solutions to our client and market facing
teams. These positions require a high level of interaction with business
users. The Lead Systems Analysts will work with business users to identify
needs, conceptualize solutions, define requirements, perform detailed
systems analysis, and work extensively with the development team to deliver
the solution.

Roles exist for Reference Data, Client Reporting, and General Client
Applications Roles.

Candidates should have 10+ years of systems analysis experience in
investment management. Knowledge of Equity, Fixed Income and Derivative
instruments are important for this role. A strong technical and database
background is required to enable them to play a hands-on analyst role.

Key Responsibilities;

· Partner with business teams to proactively identify the firm's
growing needs around content management in order to develop long-term
scalable solutions.
· Participate and lead working group sessions with various teams
across the business to identify business use cases and project success
criteria.
· Work with users to understand their requirements, define
innovative solutions to address their needs, prioritize opportunities for
new/improved capabilities.
· Document and implement systems requirements via Use Cases and
Functional Specifications
· Communicate project status and risks to the broader project team
· Provide input into system design to help the programming teams
define effort and implementation schedules for application development work.
· Ensure quality of product by enforcing high standards in testing
and building controls to measure the overall accuracy and timeliness of
delivery.
Keys to this Position:
1. 10+ years minimum work experience in a financial services
technology environment with a strong understanding of investment management
data (equity, fixed income and derivatives instruments and analytics) and
information delivery requirements. In addition, a strong understanding of
Reference Data, or Client Reporting or other Client Applications is
required, depending on the role.
2. Strong Oracle PL/SQL - SQL skills.
3. We are seeking Leadership skills as well. Person needs to be
delivery focused.
4. Strong Client Relationship skills are required. This individual
will partner with Business to understand business requirements.
Required Skills and Competencies:
· 10+ years minimum work experience in a financial services
technology environment with a strong understanding of investment management
data (equity, fixed income and derivatives instruments and analytics) and
information delivery requirements.
· Demonstrated experience in the delivery of large systems
initiatives
· Strong Oracle PL/SQL - SQL skills.
· Strong client relationship, communication and analytical skills
· Ability to manage conflicting priorities effectively
· Bachelor's degree is required; Computer Science or MIS degree is

integral member of the development team responsible for developing the Firm'
s next generation Equity Trading System.

Key Responsibilities;

As a senior member of this team, the individual will have the following

3. Financial Services, Trading Systems, or similar experience is a big
plus.

Required Skills and Competencies:

The ideal candidate must have excellent communication skills and proven
ability to design and deliver solutions relevant to complex business

· Four years of .net development experience using C#
· Solid experience with the .Net frameworks version 3.5+
· WPF or WCF is considered a strong plus
· Strong analysis, design and modeling skills
· Strong knowledge and experience with message technologies (e.g.

· Oracle – Middleware - Java backend work a plus

Position Responsibilities – Summary

The Fixed Income Quant Systems Team is responsible for providing advanced
quantitative tools such as analytic calculators, risk models, cash flow
engines, liquidity evaluation frameworks, technical pattern scanners, and
asset allocation strategies to the firm's portfolio management and research
teams. Members of the team play critical roles in the firm's success by
providing proprietary technology solutions that improve complex investment

This lead role will combine quantitative and software engineering skills to

Key Responsibilities:

· Partner closely with investment and research teams to understand
business needs and to create effective technical solutions.
· Perform detailed analysis of analytical/quantitative problems and

· Participate in full-cycle software development including
regression testing, deployment, and support of new tools.
· Stay abreast of the "state of the art" as it relates to investment
practice, both within the firm and throughout the industry.
Required Skills and Competencies:
· A minimum of five years of experience in the investment industry,
ideally with an asset manager, a hedge fund, or an investment bank.
· Demonstrated understanding of fixed income security data structure
and attributes (including those for related derivatives), quantitative
concepts, and related front-office investment processes.
· Good understanding of "bond math" and relevant market conventions
such as yields/rates/spreads, sensitivity measures, and risk management.
· At least seven years of application designing and programming
experience using Matlab, Java, C/C++/C#, or R. Comfortable in numerical
programming.
· Working knowledge of SQL and relational database technology.
· Knowledge of Microsoft tools is a plus.
· Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
· Ability and willingness to work in a fast-paced, mission-critical
production environment.
· Strong delivery focus and ability to overcome obstacles.
· Advanced degree in computer science, mathematics, physics,
statistics or another quantitative field.
· Willingness or demonstrated commitment to a CFA / FRM charter.

Keys to this Position:
1. Technical: Seeking very strong Java development skills along with
Swing, JSP, Struts framework, web exposure, PL/SQL and Oracle. We are
seeking a well-rounded developer (front to back).
2. Leadership skills: This individual will lead a team of 7 consultants
(onshore/offshore model) and will interface with other engineers, architects
and analysts.
3. Very strong communication skills required.
4. Financial services are a strong plus, but not a requirement.
Required Skills and Competencies:
· Minimum of nine years of hands-on design and development
experience in commercial environments
· Demonstrated experience developing J2EE applications using JDBC,
JNDI, JMS and other related technologies like Swing, RCP, etc. At least
three years of experience in use of these technologies is preferred.
· Demonstrated experience developing Web applications using JSP,
AJAX, SPRING, Web Services and other related technologies (HTML5, etc). At
least three years of experience in use of these technologies is preferred.
· Demonstrated expertise in relational database technologies with
strong SQL programming skills and exposure in use of Grid computing and
parallel processing technologies like Netezza, Greenplum etc. is strongly
preferred.
· Demonstrated experience with PERL, XML, and UNIX/Linux
· Knowledge of common design patterns and their application
· Experience with, and demonstrated understanding of modern software
development and testing methodologies.
· Experience in application development using technologies like .NET
(C#, VB), Oracle BI is a distinct advantage but not a pre-requisite for the
role.

Non-Technical Requirements

· Degree in Computer Science or directly related field
· Excellent written and verbal communications skills
· Willingness to work in an energetic, fast-paced, business-critical
and team oriented-environment
· Ability to work without constant supervision
· Demonstrated experience in problem-solving skills and delivery of
quality solutions with good mathematical acumen.
· A strong team player, with ability to work in collaboration across
teams.
