Senior Java Developer - (US-NY-New York)
Compensation:$100K - $110K / Year

Sr. Java Developer will play a key role in developing new technology initiatives for a very high growth organization. These new initiatives will include human capital management systems, financial systems and other mission-critical applications as appropriate. As a member of the dynamic and highly motivated technology development team, the systems and software developer plays a key role in all aspects of the system development life cycle. Depending upon the scope of each project, the systems and software developer will work directly with business owners or through project managers, but will always communicate closely with the rest of the technology development team.
· Developing scalable applications in a dynamic environment, primarily using Java, Spring, web services and object/relationship mapping tools
· Working in both Unix and Windows environments
· Developing or modifying databases as needed to support application development, and continually providing support for internally developed applications
· Developing technical architecture documentation based upon business requirements
· Enhancing and maintaining existing application suite
· Practicing Test Driven Development
· Communicating development status on a regular basis to technology team members
· Coordinating technology development efforts directly with business owners
· Recommending cost effective technology solutions for business challenges
Competencies
· At least 5+ years development experience developing either the front or back-end of multi-tier Java systems
· At least two years experience working with, or integrating to, back office HR systems or back office financial systems
· At least one year working with web services, working in short iterations and using test driven development
· Proven experience in iterative system design, development, and implementation
· Experience developing in Linux
· Strong Junit Experience. Experience with other unit testing technologies a big plus (HttpUnit, etc)
· Strong Struts and object/relationship modeling experience (Torque, Hibernate, iBatis, etc)
· Background in general SQL query skills
· Experience working with open source solutions
· Experience writing Windows and Unix batch scripts
· Experience in JSF (e.g. JBoss RichFaces)
· Experience with JavaScript, including AJAX and JSON (Dojo a plus)
Plusses
· Experience in Visual Basic and other Microsoft-centric languages
· Experience working with or integrating to Workday, Taleo or other SaaS based solution (e.g. Salesforce)
· Background in DB2, MSSQL or Oracle
· Experience with JBoss, Tomcat or WebSphere Portal
· Experience with Perl or other scripting languages
· Experience with Maven

Job Description A Major Media and Entertainment company located in New York City is looking for 3 Senior Internal Auditors.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Plan and perform, operational, financial and compliance audits under the supervision of an Audit Manager.
Must be able to do the following:
Process mapping
Risk and control identification
Audit test design and execution
Audit documentation
Report Writing
Identify business and process improvement opportunities
Interact with various levels of business unit personnel
Perfrom special projects
Support recruiting activities
Skills Required Required Qualifications:
3-5 years+ years of overall experience in financial audit or a related field
BS or BA in Accounting preferred
MACC or MBA plus
Public accounting expereince (Big 4 strongly preferred)
Strong financial accounting and internal control background
Other Desired Qualifications:
CPA or CIA desired
Internal Audit Experience
Other related private industry experience including international and /or IT auditing
Knowledge of the Media and Entertainment Industry
Knowledge of ACL, Visio and other audit automation or data mining tools
