> This role will be the Administrator of the Global Hyperion Essbase applications used to report Management financial data and serve as a liaison between business teams, IT and Global end user community.
> POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
> • Work with consultants to develop enhancements for the Essbase management reporting applications.
> • Maintenance of the Essbase applications - metadata, sub-variables and calculation script development.
> • Perform the financial consolidation process for monthly sales flash reporting, quarterly reporting, and the budget/forecast process within Essbase.
> • Work with FDM Administrator to coordinate data loads into Essbase.
> • Work closely with business end-users to implement new business requirements in Essbase.
> • Maintain and update security documentation as well as groups within Shared Services for the Essbase reporting applications.
> • Single point of contact for all Essbase IT related issues and work closely with IT organization to resolve user and system issues in a timely manner.
> • Maintain Essbase user manuals and training materials, as well as provide training and support to the global finance community.
> • Develop Hyperion Financial Reports for management reporting out of Essbase.

> POSITION REQUIREMENTS: (prefer as many as possible – all not required)
> • Hands on experience implementing, supporting and managing Hyperion Essbase/Planning in a large complex environments.
> • 7-10 years of Hyperion Essbase or Essbase/Planning experience. Should have experience in Hyperion version 11.
> • Should have completed two Hyperion Essbase implementations.
> • Solid Advanced understanding of Block Storage (BSO) applications.
> • Must have understanding of change control and testing methodologies.
> • Must have strong Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word etc,) skills.
> • Must have deep knowledge of Hyperion Essbase calculation scripts.
> • Experience with accounting and finance and its impact on financial management, reporting tools and systems.
> • Hyperion Financial Report (HFR) writing.
> • Experience with the following technologies a plus – Aggregate Storage (ASO) applications, BSO Partitioning, FDM, BI+ Reporting , MAXL Scripting, VB Scripting, SQL scripting, MS Access.
> • Knowledge of Finance systems and IT terminologies a must.
> • Hyperion certification a plus.
