Dear Friends,

We are conducting a search for a Product Manager for a global leader of ERP solutions for commercial kitchens in Fairfield County, CT
Salary $100K + bonus.

Scope of responsibility:

* Will define product roadmap, timeline, prioritizing, planning and driving execution of product vision.
* Collaborate with sales, engineering and senior management to create, design, market and deploy new products focused both at OEM and retail channel.
* Conduct surveys for performance, product and market opportunities insights.
* travel and cross-train with sales leaders on customer visits to assist in sell cycle
* strategize, drive and bring product to market
* work extensively with customers and cross-functionally with product marketing, engineering, sales, and partners to prioritize features and new product development
* translate business priorities into actionable and clearly communicated product requirements
* work closely with sales and customer to identify industry and product trends

Qualifications/Requirements:

* B.S. Computer Science or related technical degree preferred, MA/MBA a plus.
* Minimum 5 years product management experience; ideally, managed a complete product including features, pricing, licensing and platform responsibilities.
* Foodservice experience (technical or culinary) a plus.
* Experienced with Product Requirement Documents (PRDs) backed by market research - sales - customers input.
* Strong technology background, experience in MsM interfaces.
* Experienced in developing clear product roadmap.
* Able to define the Human Engineering and Graphical User Interface for a product
* Product innovation and new technology.
* Excellent listening, communication / presentation skills and strong ability to influence people at all levels and across disciplines.
* A passion for technology and strong aptitude for business strategy.
* High degree of flexibility and willingness to do what it takes to get the job done.

Some flexibility on the base salary
Much more Unix/ Li nux based, windows can be light
Should know how to implement and support the systems.
 
 

Here is what we have:

 

Minimum of 8+ years of experience in an enterprise infrastructure engineering role with primary ownership of the design, implementation, and deployment of hybrid environments ( Li nux & Windows).

 

Familiarity with TCP/IP networking protocols is a must. 

 

Experience in Unix/ Li nux Systems Administration with strong Li nux/Unix troubleshooting and command line skills.

 

Experience with Windows server based technologies and implementation is a must. 

 

Understanding of change management and problem management practices 

 

Strong scripting to programming skill set in Window and Li nux/Unix (batch, bash, perl, python, vbscript, C# , Java)

 

Knowledgeable at administrating switches, routers, and firewalls.

 

Expert level experience installing, configuring, and managing multiple software applications (e.g., OS, virus software, performance monitoring applications, etc.) within an enterprise server environment 

 

Knowledge of VMWare ESXI. 

 

Knowledge of and experience with Li nux based open source technologies is a plus. Knowledge of kernel bypass network stacks is a plus.

 

Strong verbal communication skills. Superior written communication skills.  

 

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with aggressive deadlines.  

 

Must have demonstrated problem solving skills. Must be able to work independently. Organized, independent and self-motivated. 

 

The successful candidate will have the ability to manage multiple priorities while working independently and troubleshoot problems proactively. The incumbent will have a solid understanding of, and operational experience with operating system internals, including paging and swapping, inter-process communication, devices and device drivers, file systems, etc.
