Manager/ Senior Manager

Primary Responsibilities:
-Understand critical data elements across, where they are located, and how they are inter-related.
-Lead the governance/prioritization of the CDR and Data Warehouse enhancements and projects.  Work with BT to facilitate needed technology changes for enhanced reporting and desired self-service.
-Engage customers to fully understand business need and to recommend most appropriate approach (metrics, data sources, time period etc…)
-Conduct Design sessions with customers to develop working prototypes and enable rapid development.
-Continuously evaluate reporting environment by analyzing previous report requests and anticipating future business needs.  Recommend self-serve capabilities where appropriate
-Work in conjunction with Business Operations (EDGE, Business Analytics and Customer Support Teams) to determine how / what data needs are needed for the dashboards and working with the team ensure they are identified and sourced appropriately. 
-Work with the EDGE Team to help define the requirements and enhancements to the EDGE analytics for Field people , as well as changes to existing dashboards, (includes design sessions). 
-Facilitate the process for capturing and prioritizing complex report requirements from various departments.
-Gather detail report request requirements from business users.
-Complete agreed BT request document for complex reports and enhancements.  This can include data definitions, calculations, report layouts, business rules, etc.
-Prioritize requests on a regular basis with BT. 
-Manage the communication process regarding delivery dates to customers.
-Ensure appropriate UAT & QA steps are taken after complex reports or dashboards are produced. 
-Gain sign-off from requestor
-Provide low to moderate-level analytics and/or summarization of information on an as-needed basis
-Liaison with Learning and Development to help define and deliver business process oriented training around reporting and analytics. 
-Conduct Training and review sessions with the Business to help understand reports / dashboards
         
Qualifications
Required Qualifications for Manager level:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science or related discipline required
Masters preferred
5+ years background in gathering customer business requirements and explaining/relating them to IT developers
5+ years experience using report query tools (Preferred - Oracle BI, Cognos and Business Object), Brio, Microstrategies, Business Objects).

Required Qualifications for Sr Manager level:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science or related discipline required
Masters preferred
7+ years background in gathering customer business requirements and explaining/relating them to IT developers
7+ years experience using report query tools (Preferred - Oracle BI, Cognos and Business Object), Brio, Microstrategies, Business Objects).

General Qualifications for both levels:
Proven / Experience required project management skills
Strong analytical and quantitative skills - Ability to identify and analyze issues, develops solutions, and makes sound dependable decisions
Proven technical experience in Data Warehousing environments
Proven track record servicing multiple internal clients and proven ability to develop strong business relationships
Must be able to self-direct and work effectively with others at all levels of the organization - with team members, senior leaders, and clients
Exhibit strong ability to interact with customers and satisfy their individual needs
Strong oral & written communication skills with all levels of management
Strong concepts and design knowledge of relational and 3-dimensional databases
Strong organizational skills
Experience training end-users on reporting tools
High Degree of proficiency in MS Access, Excel and Office
Excellent negotiation and prioritization skills
Ability to work in a changing environment
A clear focus on continuous improvement & innovation
Experience executing/developing user acceptance testing 
Familiarity with IT Quality Assurance techniques and processes
Advanced level skills & experience in data analysis using Oracle BI Tool or Siebel Analytics.
