Although networking is important, it is only one piece in a multiple-channel
job search marketing strategy. You help yourself best by working all your
channels. Some other channels are:

- Online networking portholes such as LinkedIn, Facebook and MySpace

- Recruiters and Search Firms

- Job sites such as Indeed, LocalJobNetwork, Ladders and CareerBuilder

- Targeted mailing and Informational Interviewing

- Career Fairs, Trade Associations, and Community Organizations

Nevertheless, many jobs are found by being at the right place at the right
time and that means a lot of deliberate networking. Some may say, "Being at
the right place at the right time is all luck." I don't. I say it is
resultant of "preparation" meeting "opportunity." If you are not prepared,
you may have opportunities looking you in the face and never know it; or you
may recognize an opportunity and not be prepared to take advantage. It is
only when preparation and opportunity meet you are likely to win a job.

JOB DESCRIPTION

The role of the Manager, Financial Planning and Analysis is to provide
analytical support to the Financial Planning and Analysis group at Wyndham
Worldwide. Responsibilities include review/analysis of Business Unit
budgets, forecasts and strategic plans, and the preparation of consolidated
budgets, forecasts, and long-range plans. Responsible for the preparation
of monthly/quarterly executive variance summaries, and review and
consolidation of the Cash Flow forecast. This will require direct
involvement in obtaining and discussing the financial data from/with the
Business Units, analyzing for accuracy, reasonableness and significant
trends, performing margin analyses and reviewing key driver trends. The
manager will also be an integral part of the monthly discussions with the
SVP of Financial Planning and Analysis as well as the CFO to discuss the
financial results including risks/opportunities. In addition, the manager
will be directly involved in preparing financial analyses to support company
initiatives and capital deployment.

* Review and consolidation of the P&L and cash flow forecasts,
including direct interaction with Business Unit counterparts to understand
the financial results and preparing variance analysis highlighting Company's
performance.

* Review, consolidation and analysis of Business Unit budgets and
long-range plans, and discussing related analysis with SVP, FP&A and CFO
management.

* Preparation of various ad hoc analyses to better understand the
underlying trends in the company's performance.

* Preparation of financial models related to evaluate new company
initiatives and proposed capital investment long range "what if" scenarios,
capital deployment and company initiatives.

* A Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting. An MBA is an advantage

* 4 years of Finance related experience. Merger & Acquisition
experience is a plus.

* Must have strong financial modeling capabilities, which includes
financial statement knowledge (interaction P&L, B/S, Cash Flow).

* Solid written and verbal communication skills.

* Strong presentation skills (including preparation of presentation
slides).

* Ability to work independently as well as the ability to work as a
team and develop cross functional relationships.

* Energetic and willing to take on new initiatives/challenges

* Highly proficient in Excel. Knowledge of Oracle financial systems
(Planning and Long Range modeling) a plus, but not a necessity.

Job Summary:

Global e-commerce company is seeking candidates for this key position supporting senior management to manage its US entity accounting and assist in driving global accounting and financial compliance activities.

Duties & Responsibilities:

- With the support of local and remote collegues, responsible for all month end close activities related to the US entity and supporting the FP&A team with timely variance reporting;

- Support timely and accurate co-ordination and production of monthly and annual consolidated statutory financial statements;

- Ensure all statements are prepared, audited and filed in accordance with local deadlines and that all local tax and statutory legislation is adhered to in addition to US GAAP; including all US sales and use, and multiple federal survey filings;

- Manage US payroll tax accounting in close partnership with the HR;

- Support external audit and tax relationships;

- Manage all corporate insurance policies, including D&O; manage global T&E policy;

- Support global initiatives of continually monitoring and maintaining the Company's accounting principles, practices, and procedures in accordance with US GAAP; including implementing effective internal controls to mitigate risk of errors, prevent unauthorized transactions and secure company assets;

- Ensure financial and administrative systems are fully leveraged, integrated, and operating effectively to achieve the Company's goals;

- Support FP&A and Revenue teams in budgeting, forecasting and revenue recognition processes;

- Participate in financial and other ad hoc projects as needed.

Job Specifications:

Education & Professional Qualifications:

- Bachelor's Degree in Finance/Accounting, MBA preferred

- CPA and/or CMA desired but not required

Prior Experience:

- Minimum of 10 years of relevant accounting work experience (3-5 years of public accounting experience preferred)

- Experience with multi-state US payroll tax accounting required

- Experience working with remote teams desired

- Knowledge of international statutory consolidation is not required but desireable

Skills & Qualities:

- Sound knowledge in all areas of financial accounting and control, with strong technical competency

- Strong financial acumen with ability to interpret financial data, draw sound conclusions

- Detail oriented with excellent analytical, time management and interpersonal skills

- Strong communication skills to influence both peers and senior managers

- Solid track record of successfully training and motivating teams

- Ability to work across various areas of the business, including effective communication with people of different backgrounds and levels

- Ability to deal with matters that carry a high degree of confidentiality

- Excellent verbal and written skills, able to present to the C level

- Confident, proactive, self motivated, enthusiastic, quick thinking, goal, results oriented
