I am heading up a search for a Project Manager in New York,NY. This is a Contract position with a Financial company. Below are the details, please review and let's discuss. This role will functionally report to the Head of Program for the Americas, Global Sales and Account Management, Financial & Risk.

Essential Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

Single point of contact for customer communication during migration process
Liaise with all parties to create the Migration Project Plan and agree timelines
Ensure all customer information is documented in Siebel by the Account Team
Closely monitor and ensure installation dates with the CTS group
Closely monitor and ensure that training dates and sheet conversion dates with Client Specialists
Use system tools provided to monitor and track orders being delayed or blocked
Report and escalate process or product issues where necessary
Agree with customer on migration sign off and instigate removal of legacy products

Scope & Impact
The Eikon Project Manager role ensures that a customer migration to Eikon is planned accordingly and to drive the Eikon migration through to completion. The role will impact all customers that require a Project Management resource as part of the migration. The Project Manager will ensure that the correct processes are followed and resources are utilized effectively and efficiently to provide a positive customer migration experience.

Essential Skills:
5-7 years experience in project management
Excellent client facing skills, written and verbal communications
Excellent people, organizational and execution leadership skills
Able to quickly grasp and understand processes
PMP Certification desirable
Ability to handle multiple projects, multi-task, prioritize & succeed in a mission critical environment
Ability to work with virtual teams to successfully deliver projects
Ability to communicate and negotiate effectively with various internal and external stake holders
Good Knowledge of Project Management tools
Logical thinker/problem solver who is self motivated and a strong contributor within a team
Previous experience of customer migration projects a plus
Good knowledge of products a plus
Understanding of customer base a plus
