Title: Security Operations Analyst Level 3
Description:
This position provides technical advice, guidance and functions as a lead for Security operations and projects. This role acts as a subject matter specialist in one or more highly specialized Security technologies, solutions or services. This position works in a team setting, sharing information and assisting others.

IT Security Operations:
- Leads/assists the Information Security team in identifying security risks and implement security solutions.
- Leads/assist in implementing Information Security Architecture as defined by the Information Security team, by working with these groups as new and upgraded systems are implemented, beginning with development and continuing through deployment.
- Monitor and enforce the effectiveness of Enterprise wide information security program and p-licies
- Track and maintain operational security metrics
- Provide guidance and direction regarding security control elements in policies throughout the organization
- Develop information security risk identification, tracking and mitigation processes strategy and methodology
- Facilitate or lead development of accurate and relevant information security process and operational metrics
- Proactively keep current on information security issues related to business processes
- Participate in investigating possible security violations. Establish monitoring measures to detect and ensure correction of security breaches and policy violation
- Coordinate, measure and report on the technical aspects of security management.
- Work with the selected line-of-business resource owners to determine appropriate security policies for identified resources
- Consult with Security Governance staff and IT Staff to ensure that security is factored into the evaluation, selection, installation and configuration of hardware, applications and software.
- Recommend and coordinate the implementation of technical controls to support and enforce defined security policies.
- Provide regular reports on security incidents, service levels and project status Assess and report on threats, vulnerabilities and residual risk; and recommend remedial action.
- Work with the enterprise architecture team and Security Governance to ensure that compliance is built into systems architecture and to identify, evaluate and select security solutions to meet security and compliance needs
Education/Experience:
- Requires a Bachelor's degree
- Requires a minimum of ten (10) years experience in the IT security function.
- Experience in the health care and/or financial services industries is strongly preferred.
- Requires project management and/or program management experience arising from leading
long-term engagements with multiple constituents.
Additional licensing, certifications, registrations:
- One or more security certifications such as CISSP or CISM are preferred
Knowledge:
- Strong knowledge of Information Security concepts such as
- Operating System, Database, Network and Application Security
- Encryption
- Cloud and Mobile Device Security
- Data Loss and Prevention tools and solutions
- Risk-Threat Analysis and Vulnerability Assessments
- Enterprise Security Monitoring
- Role-Based Access Control (RBAC)

- Proven ability to ask probing questions and obtain thorough and relevant information.
- Must be client service focused with effective ability to empathize.
- Needs to demonstrate willingness to cross-train, and be cross-trained, in other roles/duties.
