Our next Northern Fairfield Professionals (NFP) meeting on Tuesday, May 12th.

The three most important elements in job search are 1. Job Objective, 2. Networking and 3. Interviewing. A great deal of attention is concentrated on developing effective skills to support networking and interviewing, but not nearly enough on creating a carefully crafted job objective.
Your entire job search rests on the foundation of a well-defined objective that allows the job market to clearly understand what you want and how it can help you. Unfortunately, most job objectives are too broad, often unrealistic, and nearly always unfocused. The fact is, however, that the more focused your objective, the shorter the search. It may seem counter intuitive, but it has been proven over and over.
Tucker Mays is currently a Principal of OptiMarket, an executive job search counseling firm he co-founded in 2001 to help terminated senior level executives find their next opportunity in the shortest time possible. In 2011, Tucker co-authored the bestselling book, "Fired at 50- How to Overcome the Greatest Executive Job Search Challenge", the first step-by-step guide to help fired executives overcome America's strong age bias to find their next job opportunity. Defines and establishes governance standards in order to improve data accuracy and confidence in decision-making.

Levittown, NY - relocation assistance available
Leading publicly traded media and telecommunications company seeks Senior Manager – Data Governance & Business Process to assist in developing and implementing a Data Governance program across the Company.
Defines and establishes governance standards in order to improve data accuracy and confidence in decision-making.
Manages functional business participation in data governance activities, including establishment of data definitions, business rules, data quality rules and data accountability.
In addition, the Senior Manager, provides internal process review and support in operational areas as assigned by Senior Management. Monitors, reviews and assesses processes to ensure management controls (i.e., standard practices, operating procedures, management systems and reporting) are effective. Leads engagements and present findings to Senior Management. Creates and maintains critical enterprise documentation and coordinate with SVP and VP contacts to ensure capture of ongoing business updates.
Qualifications:
* 5+ years auditing background either in public accounting or internal audit
* 5+ years management experience within a large customer service organization
* 5+ years of experience in project planning and operational analysis
* Strong background working in a sales, call center or billing environment and fostering relationships and procedures that are mutually beneficial for operational groups to achieve annual goals and ensure compliance
* Ability to quickly understand complex systems, applications and business processes
* Demonstrates a strong ability to understand and provide added value to the businesses and team goals and objectives
* Excellent problem solving skills and the ability to communicate and facilitate best business practices
* Competencies including teamwork, integrity, flexibility, stress tolerance, and concern for excellence
Strong working knowledge of flowchart creation using Visio

Overview
Our client is seeking a Senior SAP PP/APO Functional Analyst who will manage
the design, development, configuration, testing, enhancement, maintenance,
troubleshooting and support of the SAP ECC Production Planning (PP) and
Advanced Planner and Optimizer (APO) modules within SAP Supply Chain
systems. The Analyst will collaborate with internal customers, IT, and other
stakeholders to identify user requirements, assess available technologies,
recommend and implement solution options.
This fulltime employee position is located in Hopkinton, MA.with 10-20%
travel.
Skills and Qualifications
* Minimum - Bachelor's Degree in Computer Sciences, Engineering or
Business
* Three to five years of hands-on SAP MM/PP configuration experience
* General understanding and support of SAP PP and significant portions
of MM-IM and APO
* Experience in at least 3 full life cycle SAP implementations
including all phases (blueprinting, gap analysis, system design,
configuration, testing, training, and go-live support).
* In depth understanding of integration with other SAP modules
* Thorough understanding of business operations in a manufacturing
environment.
* Understanding of ABAP concepts, reading & debugging code, designing
& implementing user-exits.
* Excellent project management, analytical skills, communication
skills, and with the ability to work effectively in a team environment and
to interact effectively within the user community.
