Topic: Annual Career Panel Discussion
We are pleased to present our annual panel discussion on IT career opportunities in the NJ area. Featured are four accomplished individuals who are deeply involved with different facets of the IT career process - an HR Executive, a CIO, a Career Coach and a Senior Recruiter.
This will be an exciting opportunity to learn about the present IT job market in NJ - who's hiring, skills in demand, training opportunities, job searching and interviewing advice, etc. This meeting is designed for all ITers, not just those who may be currently unemployed. You will not want to miss this opportunity to listen to and interact with our panel of IT professionals.About our Panelists:
Dean Hoffman - Senior Recruiter, has over 20 years of experience in the strategic staffing business. He is currently responsible for running the full time strategic staffing division for Carter McKenzie, a 30-year old firm based in Pine Brook. Dean works with senior human resource executives and IT decision makers, as well as job candidates, coaching them on how to be more effective with their interviews a nd processes.
Rod Colón - Careere Coach has a unique perspective on what it takes to succeed in today's global economy. Rod shares his 25 years of experience as a corporate HR management insider, outside agency recruiter, professional networker and career coach through an unusual yet common sense approach to networking and career management. His in-depth knowledge of international staffing, recruiting and networking gives Rod a unique ability to both coach and consult today's professionals and executives around the world.
Rick Carney - CIO Trac Intermodal, has over 20 years experience as a CIO and CTO. He is an experienced IT and Business executive focused on using IT to enable innovation and business growth. His experience includes retail, healthcare, pharmaceutical, manufacturing, and managing a professional services business. He also serves on the Executive Board of the Society for Information Management (SIM) - New Jersey Chapter, where he was president from 2002 to 2004.
Our Moderator - Chris Ciulla, is the Regional Vice President for the Northeast at Modis,where his is responsible for Management of Diverse Product Lines and Multiple Locations, Business Development. Relationship Management, Building Sales Infrastructure, Training and Teambuilding. Chris was the host of a weekly guest spot on a Fox station in Tampa Florida where he talked about the job markets.
