Overview
Our client is seeking a Financial Services Project Manager to lead and manage a Compliance Solutions project. The PM will work closely with senior business, functional and technology leaders to elicit and analyze business needs; translate and document these into technical requirements; create and maintain plans to achieve the strategic vision and operating platform; design and deploy solutions; develop test cases, conduct user acceptance testing and monitor implementation for new systems and solution sign-off; develop user manuals and operating procedures for usage by the FP&A user community and coordinate the resources to ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget.
This 8-month contract assignment is located in Cheshire, CT
Skills and Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in a related field; MBA degree with specialization in finance preferred
* Minimum ten years of IT and/or compliance operations experience; bio-pharma or life sciences industry experience preferred
* Minimum five years of implementation experience with transparency reporting solutions with an SAP core.
* Minimum five years of experience with one or more of the leading Transparency reporting solutions.
* Thorough understanding of MDM concepts and their role in aggregate spend capture and reporting
* Thorough understanding of HCP reporting landscape (regulations, solutions, platforms etc.) in the US and in one or more of the international markets such as UK, France and Japan
* Minimum three years of experience in project management
* At least 5 full lifecycle transparency reporting project implementation experience
* Experience working on global or regional projects with team members in multiple locations
* Experience with change management methodologies, organizational design, different operating or business models and business process re-engineering
* Project Management or Six Sigma or other process certifications preferred
