position.
Information Security ( Manager or Lead level skills )
To manage and direct the development, implementation and evaluation of
enterprise-wide security and risk minimization programs. To provide
management, leadership and strategic direction for the Information
Security Program in close coordination with other technology teams and
business departments.
REQUIRMENTS:
• 10+ years of progressive experience in Information Security.
• 2-5+ years of Leadership Experience.
• Impeccable executive presentation and communication skills.
• Excellent influencing and problem resolution skills.
• Any Healthcare is a big plus.
• Knowledge of applicable industry rules (including SOX, and prefer
HIPAA), and expertise in Information Security best practices, policy
development, and implementing Information Security Frameworks.
• Demonstrated experience in leading IT Security initiatives for
companies with more than 1,000 employees.
• Previous experience managing 3rd party service providers to
contractual agreements and customer satisfaction requirements.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, etc. MBA, MS in Computer
Science or MIS is strongly desired.
• Proven ability to develop relationships across all functional business
areas and personnel levels and build consensus among stakeholders with
different and sometime conflicting perspectives and goals.
• Strong subject matter experience in application security,
vulnerability testing and development of a risk management methodology.
• Risk management experience with proven ability to effectively apply
risk principles to challenging business situations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Key strategy contributor in the design, planning, development,
implementation and optimization of security program addressing cyber
security, risk and compliance requirements (SOX/HIPAA).
• Provides expertise, guidance and advice related to all information
security issues.
• Collaborates with other technology teams to implement consistent
security safeguards and controls throughout the organization.
• Experience in developing and managing security teams supporting
functions such as: Security Operations, Security Engineering,
Vulnerability and Threat Management, and Incident Response.
• Experience leveraging and managing third parties to deliver security
operation and monitoring services.
• Manage budgets (capital and expense) and the acquisition of equipment,
maintenance and services, with a critical eye toward cost management.
• Be viewed as a change agent who can spearhead transformation
throughout the enterprise across business functions by demonstrating the
value of Information Security.
